Because teans staging open meetings usually invite their own riders. You'd be a bit peed off if the club you rode for staged an open meeting and didn;t invite you! -

In the 70's I did not go to the cubs/scouts due to Friday nite being worky speedway night, if it was today I would be able to go both and only miss a couple of scout nites 😜 -
Every meeting will be like opening nite at this rate 😜
