Forget about an 8th or even 7th club joining the top flight because they just wont be competitive. Why are they not bringing in a one over 8 rule? It was done successfully in the Championship this season to evenly spread out the top riders. Fricke is heavily rumoured to return to Leicester so you now how to fear for King’s Lynn. Who is going to be their number 1?    Belle Vue will have Kurtz and Bewley, Ipswich although not the two they originally thought they’d have will have 2 strong heatleaders, Leicester according to Flagrag could have 2 GP riders, while Northampton will have Musielak as their sole big hitter and god knows who Lynn will manage to get! You can already name the 4 play off teams and the 2 who will battle for the spoon. A one over 8 rules needs to come in to place for the good of the league.

As has been said by others, Nick Morris is at Northampton. They do indeed, just ask Richard Coleman!!

Where’s all this talk about Cairns leaving come from?

I raced in the same practices and amateur meetings when he was a couple years younger, 13/14 and he thought he was god's gift to man. Every rider had to wait their turn in the queue to go out but not Will, he thought he could just push to the front and go out when he wanted. Riders like Luke Harrison, Max James and Freddy Hodder were also there and waited just like everyone else. Even the odd times the likes of Steve Worrall and Max Clegg turned up, they waited. I used to hate it when you got to the front of the queue, adrenaline starting to pump, you get yourself all fired up and then 'Will's going out next, you're going to have to wait' proper makes you feel sick in your helmet. And all he ever did for the extra time he got on the track compared to everyone else was practice wheelies. I know he was 'just a kid' at the time, but he's an adult now and doesn't seem to have matured at all, in fact his head seems bigger than ever. Perhaps he needs a couple of seasons at a small club to knock him down a peg or two. Was a little rubbish in the pits too.
