Quite! He’s not just been lacking points but miles off the pace. Whalley was far more competitive on Wednesday. He needs to sort himself out quickly.

They just made that mistake, I’ve just come to the conclusion after over 10 years of British speedway following that it’s the most inconsistent motor sport I have followed, not many consistent performers in both leagues , great to have a high scoring number 1 but comes at a price, a 6 or 7 av number 5 or 3 will always be up and down,meeting was lost after first round , no momentum for bears and no pressure on monarchs and they had their best match of the season  on a track that has minimum passing opportunities, run that meeting again tonite would be a different outcome, that my friend is uk speedway and why we follow it

Such is the state of British speedway, few people are likely to question the morality of Garrity returning to the sport. If he can convince a promotion to give him a team place, a lot of pensioners will be grateful for the distraction.

I'll start with my period of following Sheffield. 1977-1979 Sheffield Speedway was Promoted on behalf of County Speedways (Owlerton Sports Stadium) by John Dews.
