That attitude is exactly why UK speedway gets shoved to the bottom of everyone's priorities. Cook has signed a contract with your club, he should honour it. Why are you not p1ssed off that he's decided he couldn't be bothered to make it work, so has just dumped your club? Instead it's just "oh well, Plymouth is rubbish anyway lol 🤷🏻♂️" and no blame apportioned to the rider who didn't turn up. He's happy to take the money when it suits him, but not when another club comes along offering more money. I'd almost guarantee that if it was an important individual meeting (that benefitted Cook himself) at Plymouth, and he had to make it to Poland this afternoon, the travel options would miraculously appear. -
Promoters attitude towards fans who stop attending seems to "Well they're no great loss". When the sport is hemorrhaging clubs and fans at an ever increasing rate of knots, the last they should be is half-soaked about lapsed fans. Instead of having slopy-shoulders or even worse, criticising fans for not coming, FIND OUT why they don't come anymore

Almost impossible for a" team "to drop the average, can be done individually eg supposedly lawson but only by penalising a team mate,as a team how would you work out or agree on who's going to get the bonus point, even 3 -3s could get feisty, and of course could be dangerous (of course a teams average can go down if they're rubbish) -
Hi King Jamie the answer to your question is I simply dont know. On the face of it was a failing previously and I would hope harsh lessons were learned and proper remedial action and accounting steps were taken to prevent it happening again. Like you state if the same mistakes are repeated then that would indeed be unforgiveable and negligent. There is nothing old fashioned about expecting company officials to carry out their duties on time, nothing less should be expected . Without access to full audited financial accounts it is all just smoke and mirrors and chinese whispers regarding the financial situation of the club. We as supporters take information from our club in good faith without knowing any of the actual detail.
