If Ipswich don’t come to the tapes in 2026 it will be my first year since 1989 not attending any live speedway. Yes I fell out of love with it in 2009 & only attending a handful of meetings between 2009 & 2017. I got back in to it as a semi regular in 2018 & ever present since 2022. Even though I’ll miss it, it appears Louis has done the right thing looking to get out. The whole thing is a shambles.

I agree with your final paragraph and at the end of the day it is only worth what someone is willing to pay. Where there is a very limited market of potential buyers (as with a Speedway promotion) the seller is not in a particularly strong position when it comes to getting a price that they may wish to achieve.

No I stated many times I don’t know why they insist on a premier league when it’s in this state but he like riders do seem to be making their decisions for themselves rather than the good of the sport, of course I’d be happy to listen to your or anybody’s explanation of why they insisting there is a premier league giving it was broken last year with tv money and more tracks
