Absolutely right, all new start-ups should be lower league unless they have a significant post of cash. Buster & King's Lynn needs and encourages as many bad teams as possible in the top league so they can be comfortable in neither challenging top 4 or bottom 2.

I think the (strong) rumours of a reduced limit were linked to having a different number of teams in Championship! The 40 point limit was initially set and agreed for 3 seasons, based on 9 teams.

Not suggesting the track shouldn't re-open, merely that they should start in Championship on a race day of their choice.
