Glasgow didn't quite fully fire, and Redcar's team are hard to beat once ahead. No complaints, and it's still possible to win at Redcar in 2052 when the second leg finally comes round. It was a mistake to give Redcar choice of gates in heat one though - starting the meeting giving Charles Wright the inside gate really set the tone in the opening heats. We were constantly chasing and we made hard work of it. Still, it's a win. "Only" need a draw now. On to next Friday.

We do know and understand this is a development league and Harry Fletcher was a revelation, absolutely rode his socks off.
