    • I think what people are not taking into account with Vinnie is his injury at Redcar in his first meeting of the season. He was on 4 from 3 and sitting on a paid win in his fourth when he lifted and hit the fence by the starting gate. It was a far more complex injury than people realise, he came back, as speedway riders do, not fully fit and playing catch up with riders who had been racing for a few months whilst he was out. He then was in the top 5 for Worky when he returned , a step up when not fully fit and playing catch up with race fitness. As fitness returned he picked up at the end of the season and whoever gets him next season will see a different rider.
    • I’ve heard his name too. If the rumours are to be believed it’s  Doyle Riss King Nilsson Bewley  Cairns Foord   a decent side on paper with a few gambles in there. King would do well to retain his current high average so you’re reliant on Nilsson being the steal he looks like on a low average. Riss for me is a huge gamble. A real good rider on his day but, his health issues that haven’t went away since the last time he rode for the Witches concern me. I personally would have gone for Rushen or a newcomer or returner to the league on an assessed average. Can only assume the management have had some kind of assurances regarding his health. a lot of pressure on Cairns to make a big jump this season as with the nature of the rising star scheme now meaning he could end up carrying a lot of weight in the reserve birth. The RS standard is very low and a lot of these guys are getting thrown to the wolves and only ever really going to be likely of beating one another and getting 3 rides a meeting (even more reason why maintaining a fit side will be key) With Foord you know you’re getting a trier at least.
    • I like Dayle on his day but his form dropped off the end of a cliff as the season went on… the riders that improved over both teams as far as effort and performance, not yet signed in the Championship, were Mitch, Harry and Senna after his setback through injury… stats don’t tell the whole story, we haven’t signed Howarth yet, if at all… anyway, we’ll have to wait and see!
    • The white jacket getting another airing? We can only hope…
    • Erik Riss. For that team to fit, Kim Nilsson must be on an assessed 4.50 average. He’s a solid 6.50 rider in this league so you’ve got a two point average jumper right from the off. As well as getting two thirds of a point shaved off for Cairns exiting the rising star scheme.
    • Bewley has signed for Ipswich but there’s nothing on the Ipswich website and nothing on the BSPA website. Believe what you want 🙄
