Danny Ford already did before the 2025 season started. He announced on Social Media and in the Bournemouth Echo that both Rowe and Cairns had been signed on 2 season deals for 2025 & 2026 😀. Knowing how the Fords like to drag it out for maximum media coverage they will no doubt try to spread the remaining 5 over late Nov/Dec and Jan in the very least. I know the AGM is November but its incredible how the Poles & Swedes in most instances already have most or all of their riders nominated to ride in 2026 and that's before the POL window only officially opens & closes from 1st Nov until end Nov. Certain exceptions can run until Dec, but most teams have already been put out on Speedway news PL and Sportowe Fakty. They even seem to come up with UK Speedway news sometimes ahead of British Speedways site. -

The points limit is more crucial in my view, rather than the league structure. Its not as if these things haven't been discussed /agreed !!at the monthly promoter meetings -
I fear 12 pts wil be to much, 10 or less then its game on........but I think Poole will be rampant tonight.

Apart from Will I don't see how they can without publicly stating the league structure at the same time? 🤔

I think the performance of Flint tonight is pivotal. He's rather hit and miss and needs to ride well if Glasgow are to keep the scores close. Additionally, the Glasgow reserves are going to have to ride out of their skins to beat their opposite numbers. Intriguing stuff. It sometimes baffles me when riders use excuses like the track is different to last time, can't find the right set up etc etc. The likes of Bomber and Howarth have ridden there many times in the past so there should be no excuses. I'm a neutral and subscribe to BSN and although my nearest tracks are Belle Vue and Sheffield I have definitely enjoyed watching the Championship this year as opposed to the Premiership. As a northerner, come on Glasgow! Let's make sure those trophies are shared out.

The ball is in your court, Poole. The occasion is here. What will it be? Take your pick; a comfortable home win with little to no passing and a grey line to appear between the first and second bends due to a lack of dirt, or a proper evening of racing that will promote both the sport and competition? Wimborne Road has hosted some spectacular speedway in the past and as Gerry Facenna once said, “you need to bring a show to the stadium. There is no point having follow the leader and it’s not exciting and nobody overtaking”.
