  1. Just had a look at the comments on the updates forum. Can't believe the comments from non Tigers fans. They seem to think Glasgow will get 30 + points or even more
  2. Some comments are suggesting that you should use current form for selecting the riders to take part in this year's GP qualifiers rather than from a meeting from last year. Yet the qualifiers from this year's GP qualifying meetings qualify for next year's GP Series. By their logic next year's qualifiers should be picked based on their form next year and not on qualifiers this year.
  3. Well we know you won't turn up and spend money as you'll be sitting watching updates and then commenting in your usual 'informed' way.
  4. The people behind Team GB weren't appointed to generate the next generation of talent. They were appointed to run Team GB.
  5. On the assumption you've got a paid job I assume you turn down the opportunity to earn more, official overtime, a brown envelope or whatever.
  6. If he was on average watch why did he pass Mario in heat 1 when he had no chance of winning the race. He would have got paid the same with a bonus point and could have also advised Mario after the race where he was going wrong, having followed him around.
  7. Lambert beat Kilma 3 times and Joe Thompson twice passing both in heat 8 when guesting for us earlier this year. Winning at home is a must. Currently if Mario has to ride abroad we can get a 5 point guest. When his average drops we will be struggling to find any guest. Mario appears to be a quiet sort of guy not out going like Basso and Nagel. So does he sit quietly and just worry about his lack of scoring? Lambert on the other hand is outspoken and clearly a good team man. We only have 8 meetings left home and away, can we risk not making a change and as someone has already said with Leon and Kyle's averages increasing it has to be like for like. So unless Mario turns everything around on Friday I'd make the change.
  8. So you think the crowds have been falling away recently and you wonder why? Firstly when you say recently do you mean since the play offs last year, since we've only had 2 home meetings this year Berwick and Plymouth. Many people I know assumed Berwick would be rained off so didn't go. And perhaps the decision to stream at the bargain price of £7 had an impact. The time to judge will be next meeting against Edinburgh. Their fans always turn up if they think they've got a chance and after their brilliant result against Redcar at home recently who can blame them.
  9. To be fair, Mario has only ridden speedway tracks before. Thankfully Ashfield is a speedway track.
  10. Victor suffered from illness last year and probably came back too soon which will have affected his average. I agree he's not a no.1 but he won’t be riding at no.1 for the Bandits He's a good gater and fast when in front, ideal for Berwick.
  11. Looks good to me. Only surprise is that some Poole fans haven't posted that you must be one of the favourites.
  12. Perhaps you can explain how Cami has messed things up in the past when it comes to winning trophies? Yes he has appeared to have made some mistakes in some matches but fans don't know why decisions were made at the time. Also fans have the benefit of hindsight. However these were in what you might call qualifying meetings. I can't think of any final or semi final where he has made a 'mistake' that cost us a trophy. So please enlighten us or are you just another armchair troll?
  13. He scored paid 3 for Glasgow following home Bomber for a 5-1 beating Cook and Kerr. He then touched the tapes in his 'easiest' race and finished last, off 15 metres. From memory he made a good gate in his last race and moved out allowing the Poole riders to pass him easily. Hopefully he has l earned from these mistakes.
  14. The return of the burger man on a reduced average
  15. Now we know how to find out the Edinburgh team. First of all say you've heard that "Thomsen" is headed for Oxford and Blobby let's slip ' he won't be '. Well I've heard the Thompson twins are headed for Plymouth. Bet Blobby says they won't be.
