  1. Shoots him up the table to the dizzy heights of 10th. Unlikely to finish in the top 8.
  2. Four paragraphs and I would like to briefly deal with each in turn. 1) Absolutely correct 2) Absolutely correct 3) Absolutely correct 4) Absolutely correct To summarise, I agree with everything you have said.
  3. "Sick and dizzy"? I have felt "sick and dizzy" with this joke of a "sport" for about the last two years!
  4. A very, very wise decision. Far more entertainment in Wells. Is there a curfew or is this merely something fictitious that can be used in case of need?
  5. They could call it the "use a guest, r/r, doubling up, absent riding in another country, super league"
  6. No need, there's always someone ready in the crowd to jump in.
  7. The usual method is to advise the fans of someone missing (riding in another country) 30 minutes before the first race. After all, it could be dangerous to let the punters know too much!
  8. But concussion doesn't apply everywhere apparently, only in countries with a certain atmosphere.
  9. Perhaps he's got the same mate, with a dodgy line in medical notes, as Bratchelor!!
  10. What else can you expect when the lunatics are in charge of the asylum? That's Buster's idea of promoting his Club Or even, who wants to be there at all?
  11. And golfers can only hit the ball with one club at a time. But they always carry more than one!
  12. Good summary. There was deceit which made fools out of supporters who were treated with contempt. They were effectively mugged. Some would say this resulted from poor communication, others would call it blatant lying. Either way it doesn't present the owner in a good light. He appears to be either a buffoon or a crook.
  13. At the risk of repeating myself, there were 23 weeks available to stage 14 home meetings. We come to two weeks from the end of the season and suddenly realise that we have only held 10 meetings and that we still have 4 to fit in. That is not unfortunate. That is not bad luck. It is complete and utter incompetence, a lack of forward planning and evidence of a missing brain. I sincerely believe that if JC had still been at the club, none of the recent disasters, including the latest shambles, would have been allowed to happen. I turned my back on this "sport" some time ago, realising that my hard earned deserved a more appropriate home. However, having attended my first meeting at the Firs in the early sixties, it is impossible to ignore it completely. I love it when "real" fans have a pop and suggest you shouldn't have an opinion because you aren't at a meeting and then admit they aren't there either! And this person is linked to the club? Heaven help the club!
  14. Was there anyone still there after 10 heats? If there was, send for the people in the white coats. (There was a touch of sarcasm by the way in the original comment). I wouldn't have wanted to see any of it. Congratulations to Josh Auty on a good paynight
  15. My pleasure. Some spare time (for once) so you've got to use it wisely
  16. I PUT MY GRANDSONS FOOTBALL MATCH BEFORE THE SPEEDWAY,AND THATS YOUR REPLY..... OFF. ???? Congratulations to your grandson (already said, didn't you see it?) I would have done the same. So the poor old real fans are short changed again - five races short.
  17. I don't. They should have more sense and deserve everything they get!
  18. Ridiculous. This has resulted from sheer incompetence throughout the season. They have had 23 weeks to arrange 14 home matches. To find yourself in a situation where you need to cram meetings into the last two weeks of the season and, in particular, having to run two meetings against the same opposition is nothing short of pathetic. To add icing to this extremely unpleasant cake, they advertise to the supporters that a full team will be riding and keep it from them (effectively lie) that one rider seems to have a prior commitment and will not be taking part. The supporters have been mugged yet again tonight. There may be a number of people on this forum who think that everything is o.k. and it's all part of what happens in this "sport". I say wake up and recognise what is taking place in front of your very eyes.
