Agree ,18 year old with a 9.17 ave. They don't come around too often. Starke get a lot of praise but he has been around a while and was at reserve most of the season ,I find it incredible that fans can knock Brady.
whatever the result this is great for Scottish Speedway and Teams in the North. If these weren't strong we would have been cast aside years ago by our "southern friends"IMO .
Agree Monarchs are superb at Armadale but the number of times the experienced Tigers riders have rode there they really should have put on a better show.Imo
The NewGlasgow Promotion deserve a lot of credit for their 'effort to present the sport this season a little bit for everybody attending.Great atmosphere in the stadium these days.
This might sound stupid and I am willing to take some stick on this matter, but IMO the bottom Tape should be lower down, so as the rider has to wait longer before he drops the clutch after the magnets release to get under them, that way riders definitely have to stay still.I will still be the same for every body when to drop the clutch.
I think the Refs just panic if some gets a perfect start,Summers got a flier in one race IMO and was not pulled back.I though Sargeant had 1 really perfect start but the ref pulled it back.I Personaly think the number of races pulled back is joke. The start Marshal needs get get the riders nearer the tapes to stop "anticipation"IMO
Agreed ,but surely the Team managers pointed this out to the Ref,but if it was Dishington I can understand why they were wasting their time as he was trained by McGregor in the "I'm the ref go away".
I agree, while the Ref admitted his mistake and it should not have happened,it was highly unlikely that the 2 tigers were going to be caught they were a long way ahead after a 1 1/2 laps.Surprised the Rebels took gates 1 and 3 for the last heat decider.
How many seasons has he been riding and still can't be consistent from a RESERVE berth.Thats one of the reasons GB speedway is in the state that it's is in or is he riding for peanuts over here? I doubt it.
Its not a trick track it's just prepared the same EVERY week (when the weather doesn't intervene) to suit the home riders by Alan Bridget who is a master at his trade. Most other tracks are just a hit or miss regarding track prep. The Home riders know the set up before they even get on track which is an advantage. They usually grade the track every 4 heats as normal, but it is noticeably that it also get an " extra one" before Cookie comes out in Ht 10 .!!!!!! Some good races tonight.Thompson and Grondvil were poor though.
