Just compare entertainment value and crowd levels at Top Level over the weekend in Poland Sparta vLublin to Kings Lynn v Oxford. Night and day. Don’t have solution though.

Smith is not the answer but like you say Bastion is nowhere near full fitness or even competitive.

Every team has the same problem regarding points limit though.It the riders you sign that makes the Team.IMO they have to improve a lot on what I have seen with the riders they have signed.

Don’t think seasons Team is as strong as last seasons.Brennan’s improvement was a huge bonus.Kerr will do well to ride to his average which really has to happen IMO for Pirates to conquer like last. Ben And Tom made the difference.Rowe has potential but will it happen.

Think Kemp should be at 3 especially with Heatleaders PK,CC and Kemp at home, we need to match the away Team No3 in Ht 12.Not every Team have strong No 4 for Ht 14.

Rested or Dropped it is obvious he is really struggling to be competitive,a decision has been made .

Finding that rider with much higher average might be a problem.(unless Jamie has someone at Oxford going spare.)

For a top rider(which he is) he doesn’t seem to have a lot of style or trackcraft ,just very fast on the outside line when tracks suits his style.IMO.
