why is it that the Monarchs Chatzone can report that Ben and Thomas are riding in the Ben Fund Meeting in a quote from Keith Hamblin in the local Berwick Advertiser yet Bandits Website don't announce that Fact.?
Sad news, you are correct he spent his last few years in a nursing home in Edinburgh, can still remember the White leathers but most of all was the Leg Trailing Style,R.I.P. Ken.
To me he is a modern day Mauger ,so professional and gater supreme that fans don't really find him exciting but you cannot deny he is up there with the best IMO.
Wouldn't disagree, but technically Douglas was averaging more than 7pts a meeting .He might have grievance as he was scoring more than 7.Like Najjer points out is irrelevant .Doesn't do much for Team spirit in coming seasons if they stick to these sort of rules regarding Bonus points IMO .Do clubs pay these bonus points?if so that is another anomaly regarding this matter.
Try reading my Post correctly before giving an answer,Technically IMO Ryan Douglas could have an average of 7.13 if SS is correct. That is all I am saying.Who is to say that is not the figure that counts.Bonus Points is what my theory is based on.
If you look at the Scunthorpe Review in last weeks Speedway Star you will see that Ryan Douglas had an average of 7.13 from 34 matches last season that probably includes Bonus Points which is what I was alluding too. That is the statistics I was using. Could you please give the reason , I am interested. Thanks
I was thinking that the Rolling averages might not count in these circumstances as they could be over more than I season for certain riders(injuries ect). Then Doolan and Ryan Douglas would be Ok.Only my thoughts though.for instance Douglas has a7.15 average including bonus points last season but under 7 on Green sheet which does not include bonus points.
Why everybody seems to think Jorgensen is a concern is a mystery to me .When a rider comes to a new home track it might take him a few meetings to adapt, but having seem him at other track think he will be ok.Bellego certainly flattered to deceive ,so Thomas doesn't have a lot to live up to as a replacement IMO
I'm sure a few few years ago some riders filled their fuel line with water which they turned the tap on at start line and it helped reduce power out of gate and prevented too much wheel spin therefore produce a start from the gate.(might be talking rubbish but sure there was some tampering with fuel lines to help get a good gate)
