  1. I agree, and if the track is not consistent it gives the riders a lot of problems.Track prep is very important these days and sometimes it's not up to scratch IMO
  2. By the same token a lot a fans have stopped attending because of these points judging by what is said on forums and there are not enough new fans to take their place so it's a catch 22 situation whether the new fans are bothered or not.
  3. What is his Facebook saying Ash 123 or Morrisay Fan statement
  4. Actually was wondering that myself when I saw who posted it.
  5. Better saying nothing than coming out with that statement IMO.How big is his fan club?
  6. Nothing wrong with your posts there is a lot of fans out there with the same thoughts.Speedway cannot be taken seriously as aTeam sport nowadays,it is just 4 riders providing entertainment.Personaly as a Bikesport fan the BSB super bike racing provides a better day out and more value for money nowadays. The sport is failing to attract new fans which is the bottom line and needs a big transformation.
  7. Dont see your point if he already goes to the Speedway he will surely know the position that the Club is in,it's pretty obvious and now a statement has been made.
  8. Think we just have to wait and see who's interested then. Not really much at average fan can do apart from turning up on a Sat night IMO
  9. Cant agree with you on that one.Riders have to accept the crowds are not there to pay the money they are demanding.Imo they are earning decent money ,it is a sport, they don't have to do it if they feel it is not worth the risk.
  10. Think there are a few more PL clubs "not in great shape"
  11. Thats the bottom line in British Speedway it's not a cash cow for mediocre riders ,if the riders don't like the money on offer let them find a job elsewhere.Total revamp needed as usual though about 4/5 seasons too late.
  12. that is the problem in the sport Promoters are paying money that exceeds income.
  13. Personaly I think there is only 1 option, someone buys the club.dont think there are a number of small investors around these days willing to put money into the sport in its present state.I think the sport can still be viable but radical changes need to be made by the people running the sport .The major bugbear this season has to be the number of blank Sat.for whatever reason, people just get out of the habit.
  14. It does! At least the fans know what the options are.The sport is in mess though attracting new investors might be difficult.
  15. The announcement has been made,we will just have to wait and see the outcome.
  16. He would probably be able to set up Bombers bikes better that Bomber!!
  17. Misunderstaning I meant Berwicks Swede Thornbolm, and who ia at reserve for Berwick next month.
  18. Not sure if the track was prepared to put Rockets off but it certainly backfired as Edberg and Kus certainly don't like heavy tracks .A heavy shower of rain late afternoon maybe didn't help in that respect.Credit to the Rockets they done most of the overtaking. The new Swede look good though.Who will be at reserve next month?
  19. He is in total control of the bike at all times and has superb bike handling skills ,never looks in trouble and is very calculated with his moves.Sheer Class.Maybe he has "rocket ships" but you still have have to be able to handle them.
  20. Well done to the Rockets no excuses they just got on with it and wanted it more.
  21. Agree 100% the sport is struggling to be taken seriously.you will get the usual quotes that the injuries are no worse than before, but surely that statistic is going out the window .
