  1. Spouting catchment area's is a load of Bullsh*t IMO.There is enough people out there .
  2. How can this sport be taken seriously reserves missing for gods sake what next!!!
  3. The catchment area is the same,as Screm points out,so what exactly do you mean when responding to his post.read my post as a reply to Paulco.Everyone knows society has changed so you are just backing up what I have said.I just don't know all the reasons that new fans are not attracted to the sport.Neither do youIMO.
  4. I think you have valid point the sport is not attracting enough new fans for whatever reasons. This catchment area talk isn't valid there are still as many people live in the Borders as there was when Speedway started in Betwick.Average crowds were much higher in the 70's and 80's when the sport was more popular. Most tracks are relying on diehard fans nowadays.
  5. Armadale is a track that not many visitors impress,Shielfield is the nearest in similarity to Derwent Park so I expect a close encounter,Kyle Howarth is the key man IMO.
  6. the Workington Heat leaders will give us plenty to think about unlike the Tigers Heat Leaders we need more heat winners this week.
  7. Your entitled to your opinion,if it sounds good to you fine by me.
  8. Ah !! that's the plan win nothing and we won't close, sounds good to me.
  9. Just watch out you might finish up being pickled too.
  10. Have a nice night ,don't worry about the Bandits RobinH88 has spoken!
  11. Not quite that.Im sure someone will explain at the reunion!
  12. University reunion! Do you know somebody in a jar !!
  13. Rymel crashed in the last heat ,concussion ruled him out of Exeter the next night and we still thumped them.he also spun out of his 2nd ride while leading.McGowan was their guest.
  14. when we lost at Newport in August (where virtually everybody else won )that was effectively it over.We won at Exeter the next night and speaking to Peter in the pits after the match he was convinced that we still had a chance (optimistic as ever).Rye already had the away wins in the bag.The original point was a winning team keeps the crowds happy and maybe increases them, one thing is certain a losing Team has an adverse effect on the crowd.
  15. what we win.? If that the crowds were atrocious that year what do we call them now.wait till beginning of season local matches finish and then see what crowd levels are now.We were challenging for 2nd place for most of the season Rye House were runaway winners.
  16. What did we win in 2005.i would suggest that there was a bigger Home support for the Bandits than there is now, possibly due to the financial climate.Everyone seems keen to justify not signing expensive riders which is fair enough but all I am saying is that winning team will keep interest on the terracing.
  17. Agree think Bellego needs to get away from No2 position. If we can see off Workington this week-end we will be doing well IMO
  18. Sounds like a Dick Barrie quote, but like he said in last weeks programme he doesn't use Social Media sites!!!!!!!!!!!! Aye Right.
  19. The poster was making a comment who are you to tell him it is time to move on,very rude IMO
  20. I agree Harris is still one of Britains top riders it is not his fault the standard is so poor.If he gets through all the rounds he is entitled to be in the GP.He got very lucky last year though.(through no fault of his own I might add)
  21. Apoligies I though the match had been called off earlier than that, but I see the first post was 2pm.
