We all agree with what Big Ed is saying ,but you also need results on track to promote the club to the wider audience out there and unfortunately this hasn't happened.

Good Post,to be fair on the injury front we signed Kennett but he was a big let down IMO.The season has been rather flat can only hope we pick up again next season some new blood needed though.

Ah that's where I am going wrong!! after they come back for a couple of weeks they might ask if this is aTeam sport .they then might just start attending GPs.

You can't that is the trouble with the sport.

the Promoters and the BSPA don't seem to grasp the ethos regarding Speedway as aTeam sport,the majority of the fans want see THEIR Team every week and not see THEIR RIDERS riding for every other Team in the League it just makes a mockery of the sport.

Amateurish is the only way to describe the rules but the promoters seem to think everything is OK and don't seem to understand why fans are deserting.All we here is true fans support through thick and thin.IMO the rules are the problem.

When you look at the scenario tonight Doyle ,Barker And Cook(if meeting had not been cancelled )all no1 in there Pl Team missed vital meetings,wonder what will happen in the next few weeks if the EL play-offs are affected by the weather.How can the sport be taken seriously ,Total Mickey Mouse IMO.

Compared to other seasons it seems a very disjointed fixture list for week-end clubs like Glasgow and Berwick for some reason,quite a few blank weeks.

It is irrelevant who has excused themselves,there will be 2 sets of riders there that will put on a show for a good cause.

You can have him next season.He is a different rider at Ashfield for some reason.

The major problem at Berwick (and most other tracks)is crowd figures they are just not improving significantly and in a lot of cases are still decreasing .Interesting to see what will transpire next season.Something has to change regarding income over expenditure.

It is a shame,I don't mean to be disrespectful but with Cook missing how many Monarchs fans will turn up. Open Meetings and challenges have had their day IMO.Sincerely hope the Tigers can regroup and have a better season next year.

crap track prep,the riders were moaning about too much dirt ond bumpy at practice so they make it a gaters paradise ,what about the fans.

Think collarbone injury was the favourite,during the season it was 2weeks out ,end of season it was a 3/4 recovery period.Is it not the case now that payments stop at the official end of the season.

What chance is there of the meetings starting on time if Taffy is going by his timepieces.

I agree with you,the carry-on with track prep early season should not have happened,like you say perfect for showing the world how good we are and mediocre a lot of the time.for the first ever I missed home meetings because I was p*ssed of with the track.I know a few diehards who had the same feelings.Hopefully next season we won't have to discuss track prep as much.A directors statement 2-3 meetings into the season saying they would get it right is not good enough.

Bike technology is the culprit that passing has declined look at the track record when speedway returned to Shielfield.Anybody watching Seb and the U/21 guys realise that.How do you pass a PL heat leader these days if he makes the Gate.My answer is seldom.
