  1. Strenght in depth , the double points Tactical rule affects Top Heavy teams IMO
  2. Think we will have to wait till Team is announced
  3. Top heavy teams have not really worked over the last few seasons. You need at least 1 good reserve these days ,
  4. Lets just be glad to have a Team to announce instead of moaning who is in it ,Its not your money thats at stake in the Speedway club.
  5. I agree we need more stability in teams and retaining rider that can be associated with the club rather as have to change for the sake of the rules and averages.
  6. I think he just wants to put a positive spin on the sport as all promoters do,but he seems deluded IMO.
  7. He did say that there was some-one moaming all the time but did not say who!!!
  8. Ladbrokes would give you good Odds on Cookie IMO
  9. Where does it say you are saving over £100 it only covers 14 meetings.Ko.cup and challenges not included.?
  10. Your just a week late already a thread on the subject
  11. Dont think Fricke will get very far north of Swindon when he makes it over ,a strong Leigh Adams connection I believe .A real talent IMO,and a nice lad to chat with.
  12. Roynon is a class act but like yourself I think the way he rides he will always be in scrapes that more often than not are caused by him not taking into account who he is riding against( lesser skill)and getting into tight situations.I wish him well though and an injury free season.
  13. Saw him at Berwick looked OK in after meeting spin but on a 5pt average will struggle IMO.The ypoung Aussie who have impressed me were Max Fricke and Ryan Douglas, even for them to achieve 5pt av in first season would be a challenge.
  14. Len's letter in the Star is interesting!!!!!! Everthing hunky dory at Hoddeson
  15. Considering he finished 3rd in the World I think we know the answer , whether that rules out Berwick who knows.
  16. Not much loyalty considering the promotion ressurected his British career, the week-end excuse is poor IMO.Sell him and move on .
  17. Dont think Morris will be at Berwick but who knows.
  18. He is on a decent average would do a job IMO. Same scenario as Tully though.
  19. He has had some good rides round Berwick but he has had some poor one as well. If he was riding the track every week he would get "dialed in " IMO. His average is inflated though due to his Armadale form and I wouldn'take him on7.01
  20. I think Tully is a decent talent but he has stagnated and maybe lacks a bit of dedication to get a lot further. He has had good rides at every track IMO but relies on his Armadale form too much.A change of track will do him good not so sure Berwick would help him much in the respect that a couple of bad meetings would cause frustration with a few fans due to his Edinburgh connection which is unfortune but true IMO. He does have touch of class and could go on to better things if he applied himself.
  21. I would like to see Aspergen back as was very good away from home last Season and as a third Heat Leader that is something that Berwick have been missing in recent seasons. Was encouraged to here that he would like to be at Berwick, hope they can agree terms but I think there will be a few others trying to tempt him away
