Have to agree who wants. to pay to watch 10 Heats on a dodgy track just to avoid a posponement .They wonder why people stay at home and don't make the effort in adverse weather and to me it's pretty obvious.Fans cannot be sure the meeting will take place .Gone are the days when the boiler suit went on and we had riders who liked wet tracks.

Its because they change the rules every season .Fisher wasnt allowed to double down a couple of seasons ago because he had an average over 6 for Coventry.

lets be honest how many No1's in PL are riding for £55 a point.A paper exercise just like the bonus points.

He might be getting paid bonus points too.But there again that might be debatable.

I am only pointing out that the statement is not quite right.Not really bothered who was dropped to make way for the new signings.Alex was probably the lowest average but it still means that anybody else could have been dropped and the Team would have still been under the limit.

That statement is a little bit misleading,any other rider in the team could have been dropped to fit in Paul Starke if it is about averages.Wish Ricky a speedy recovery and hope that we an see him in Bandit colours again, he create a good impression and certainly won the fans over.

I would like to point out that my Post only past on the information given to the fans over the tannoy and has nothing to do with ANY rules regarding replacements or Guests in this situation.

In the context of things its trivial anyway,who really cares these days with speedway rules a decent match is all I would like to see.

I I am amazed the number of times Paul Starke comes on the forum touting for aTeam place,surely he has been in contact with every Promotion and been turned down before posting on this forum seems a complete waste of time advertising on here

Surely the relevant Promotions should know if any of their riders are unavialable when agreeing the fixture.Nothing said in Press release regarding this!

Doesn't really matter,guests are just the norm in speedway now,nothing new.

Ithink it was either Dennis or Dick announced it to the crowd and pretty sure he said it would be R/R for Bellego.

announced last night that it was R/R for Bellego so assumed that we were not allowed guest facility ,might have assumed wrongly though,what are the rules.

there are better riders than Dyer available to replace Ricky as a guest it's R/R for Bellego.

It appears he has now removed these comments.Sound advice from someone I think !

I agree regarding David Bellego this guy is class.

I think the Promotion need to tell Alex to refrain from making comments on the Berwick Facebook site as he is very negative regarding the track and says the trouble is that it is round a Football pitch and is too square to produce good racing and is not safe.The track has produced good racing around the same Pitch for many years.

A couple of them will be told they have to better.AGAIN.

Track was much better tonight would have liked to seen bit light watering but noticed that some riders did not look too happy,the outside line was at least looking a lot better and Kozza used it to good effect in one ride.No excuses regarding result ,think we will be in a bit of bother in the next couple of weeks if that is the best we can do.I would have liked to have seen Barrett in heat 14 in place of Edberg.the bad news is speaking to a long term supporter tonight he said he has had enough and won't be back. very little water went on the track if you took notice I think certain riders were none too happy regarding watering.
