I have to agree that Johno's comment was offhand, especially in the light of how Tinho is now.More thought should have been taken before he spoke but i dare say live TV doesn't allow for that. Moving away from that here's another Millardism that was pointed out to me at Brandon last night. ........and the rider on the inside in yellow is....... -

That has been exactly what i've been trying to say today Rebecca & that'swhy i'm saying it should end myself. I've said my peice & that's that as far as i'm concerned but i can't speak for others 'til i know for sure. You sound like a reasonable girl to me so don't worry about how long you've been on here. -

Schumi Having seen WWoS i'm well aware that there is some real good stuff on the site. Asi have said to Stuart Road i'm not impervious to good debate, in fact it's very healthy, what is unexceptable though is when individuals make unneccessary callous comments another's character(surely you can see that's not unreasonable). I know i've only been on here a short time but i've seen plenty to know how things are.I do think you've got me wrong,of course i don't believe the sun shines out of our national skipper's rear, but he does deserve the same respect we all do.Which comes to my final point, to question my own integrity was uncalled for & i sincerely hope both you & Sube can see that. Schumi Speedway fans are the best in the world so can we please not spoil all that with all of this nonsense I'd much rather this be all fogotten & let the fun side continue. What do you say? Yours Truly C C -

.....And there is of course the insult in post 85 which i still await an apology for from Subs himself. I of course have done so in post 255 which i have already said before. I'm not creating a war i'm just waiting for that courteous response. I too am more than happy to debate anything so long as it's within the rules but until that apology arrives my stance will continue. A good day to you too -

BBB, these people from Proboards 89 who come on here will always take a dimmer veiw on Scott no matter how good or bad he rides. That is a fact i've learnt very quickly.I just wish stay put in their own weird world personally. -

Schumi If you missed my apology you should look at post 255 on this thread, you'll see that it's very genuine & not something i have any intention of repeating especially since Subs made a personal insult on my nature in post 85 for which i have yet too receive the same courtesy. And he has the nerve too question my integrity -

a61, i agree Scott can be a disappointment at times but it doesn't warrant some of the comments made like begging, being overweight etc. Take a look at Proboards 89 & you'll be disgusted by some of comments whether libelous or not -

Did anyone hear Millard say that Nicki Pedersen was winning his 2nd GP in a row during the final? -

I do sincerely apologise if my last comments seemed offensive, but the continual slagging off that Scott gets is totally unneccessary & tests the patience of even the calmest amongst us. I've noticed that at the beginning of this thread that Subs was actually pleased to see Scott do well. I just can't grasp why this thread has developed as it has. Shouldn't we all be backing the brits as a matter of pride. As i have said sincere apologies & i hope that can be the end of all this. -

....... and what about: We'll have to wait for the referee's verdict on that, when it's a first bend incident & obvious too anyone with a brain cell in their skull that it's an all 4 back decision -

Guys, don't get involved in arguments with this pair they're a total waste of time as i found out earlier in this thread.I've come to the conclusion that where they're concerned ignorance is most definetly BLISS,know what i mean? -
I'm pretty sure my 1st meeting was an East Midland Bowl match which was a regular pre-seaon duel between Coventry & Leicester. The year would have been 1971 & i was just a lad of 6 yrs old.Leicester,if i remember we're a strong team &Ray Wilson & John Boulger only dropped 1pt between them, with Coventry's only real resistance coming from Booey & Tony Lomas. The bees promoter was cursing rider control that year i believe cos it meant he was forced to lose the prolific Ken McKinlay.Ring any bells
