Things are still pretty hot for the final place with Rune being on it as well tonight. Bomber & Greg can't say thye're safe yet & Chris you really do need a bit more than those5pts. There we're a few interesting comments tonight, firstly from Scotty when he said the track wasn't much different from the practice.Could it be that Mr Olsen is finally listening to the riders? Agreed Steve that this idea is a little too radical. This is how i see it should be done. The top 8 are seeded through the following year as per. The remaining 7 go into a one-off meeting with the top 9(excluding existing GP riders) from the GP Challenge to decide who is in the series the following year. I think that sounds fair, but maybe it's too simple.

Don't get me wrong i wasn't saying neither deserve to be there, they've qualified by right & good luck to them.It's just as you say it's so hard to say who does have a given right to be their after those 11 that have earnt it.4 places are so hard to choose when commercialism comes into it as well,& it does all depend on who gains that much sought after 8th spot.My personal thought is that it'll be AJ but who knows, it could be any of 5.Do we say put the other 4 in or do we allow for the claims of KK,Lubos,Bjerre etc.Retirements are of course another consideration.I'll finish now cos i'm even confusing meself

As this thread is supposed to be about Saturday's qualifiers & not all the other junk i've veiwed i'll give an opinion on that. After seeing PUK & Dryml last night it's certain that their GP credentials must be in question.OK so Swindon maybe isn't their happiest hunting ground but a rider in the world's top15 should be able to cope with whatever's thrown at him on track. Bjarne however showed what a class act he is even if his team riding abilities we're at 0 last night.

So how do you know what he & Sophie get up to
