The answer to that may lie in the pull that Cardiff has both with fans & potential backers.More british fans will support it with more than 2 competitors taking part & British companies may be more willing to give their backing with a larger influx of home grown talent.I may be wrong, i may be right,it's just an objective veiwpoint.

Jonsson, Hampel& Nicholls wiil all have a nomination if they fail to get 8th spot IMO. This will leave 2 places for either of Holta Jagus(assuming they don't get 8th),KK & Lindgren ,although Bjerre has staked his claim tonight.Gee it's tough innnit

I remember seeing that bike at Booey's Testimonial meeting at Brandon

I've just checked out Denmark on BBC Weather site & it says sunny for today Maybe i should change my name to Michael Fish or something

Heat 13 looks pretty tasty.Crump Andersen Nicki & Greg You're choice is just as good though & i wouldn't put "Mr Elbows" in.

This is exactly what i've been saying TNT.As you say there's no other Brits to replace either as yet although i must say i think Bomber is there for the long haul. Obviously Scott's position is very perilous but that's of his own making. The selectors will still give him the option to stay in though for the same reason you have stated,if you we're Scott would you say no

Seems as we're getting a bit daft how about Kaiser Bill's boatman -
Only just read this after the site crashing. Funny though I'm sure my meaning was that Scott was a failure on the night & i'm not dishing out any excuses he was very poor. ......and here's me thinking that commending your "guru" Gollob would please you Oh well!

Only if it's returned Schumi!

Though this gp was good entertainment i have seen far better at byd. Track was much slicker & the outside lines just we're not working except for Tomasz who is the master where bydgoszcz is concerned. A disappointing night for the brits but very much something bomber will learn from, Scott i'm afraid just didn't have the speed needed on this track.

Agreed Sandie, i know Titch's dad has had huge problems getting his engines ready for this one after speaking to him at work so to do as well as he did was a superb effort from all. Well done all -

Oh, do get over yourself. Do you not think that Scott is respected by his team colleagues.?.No,of course he isn't that's why they make him skipper isn't it. Do you not think his rivals respect him the same as he respects them?. .....but then you're never wrong are you Sube. -

Erm, tongue in cheek Anyway, different veiw again. You may call it stirring, i call offering support to other members.I'm just glad to see i'm not the only one who has this opinion.I'm enjoying the debates on other threads & there are some thoroughly decent people on this forum but what i see in this thread from certain people is not debate or opinion but a downright slur on Scott's character.I've said before i'm not saying this cos i'm Scott's biggest fan. I'm just saying he deserves more respect. I do hope that i don't have to keep repeating myself. Oh, and by the way, why is it considered hypocritical to say that there will always be more than 1 british rider in the series. This is a fact of the selection process & until any better british lads emerge Scott will remain to be chosen.I'm not saying that's right it'sjust how it is. -

Jaybea, don't get into this again, i've learnt that it's not worth the effort with certain people. I'm just watching & laughing at their pathetic dribble now -

Oh dear,I sense you may get a similar treatment to what i have this last few weeks Authorised. Respecting our national skipper is a foreign language to some individuals. That's all from me, but just you wait & see the replies. Round & round we go. -
Matty, you're generosity is noted Obviously hope you're right but not so sure
-
Thanks young man, appreciated The grey matter isn't as young as it used to be
-
Are we talking about Bomber here Doesn't he race for Rybnik in the same league as Bydgoszcz? I stand corrected if i'm wrong!

My thought exactly Matty
