  1. Well done Russians! A man down, and with the Czechs having two home riders (and a homicidal maniac), and they did it!
  2. My point stands. Pointless change. As for the race-off, anyone got Lee Richardson's number?
  3. WTF is the point of Woffinden going out here? We can't win and the experience would do Barker wonders. Middleditch is a clown.
  4. Doesn't have to touch him, he rode a line that made it impossible for Harris to turn. Dangerous riding, I think it's called...
  5. Doesn't have to touch him, he rode a line that made it impossible for Harris to turn. Dangerous riding, I think it's called...
  6. Barker was trying to sort it out after, yes, Woffinden had his little boy's say...
  7. Other than try and kill him twice and then riding him wide coming into the turn, no. Lukas Dryml is on something tonight. Drug test for him methinks...
  8. Can someone take Woffinden's cap off his head and bend the bloody peak?!? He looks like a right twonk
  9. Oh FFS! Take off that race jacket and get back to Australia! (Or Wolverhampton first, if that's better for you)
  10. I think we've learned a lesson there. Don't trust Scott Nicholls when... Well, ever.
  11. Part of it will go to the Russian Federation, through a stipend paid by the FIM. The Russians, though, insisted that their clubs paid the riders' expenses. So that money, supposed to be used to compensate their riders, has disappeared. That's why Sayfutdinov is making his protest.
  12. Had to feel for Darkin there. Dropped by Leicester, and on a hiding to nothing tonight. The FIM need to step in and sort out the Russian Federation. Maybe Sayfutdinov can ride on an ACU license? Eric Sayfutdinov has a ring to it...
  13. We'll have to agree to disagree, then, because I think it is. The Russian Federation will take the money and kudos from this tournament without putting a penny in themselves. Furthermore, they're demanding their clubs pay for it. Imagine a situation where the ACU demanded that Swindon paid for Simon Stead's inclusion in the GP qualifiers - madness!
  14. I believe Emil's position is more a matter of principle than a matter of money. But then our friends on the south coast don't understand morals...
  15. Not sure if this is the right section to put this in, but here goes. As you're probably aware, I've been compiling averages for all the EL-, PL-, and NL-level matches ridden this year, and would like to widen that to include all competitive matches. The Long Eaton Invaders site is great at putting up the results and rider scores for their matches, but is there any other regular team action going on in the UK? If anyone can furnish me with results I'd be very grateful. p.s. Does anyone have the rider scores for the Northern Select vs Team Viking meeting that took place at Workington in the spring?
  16. I think if Kennett can continue the progress he's made this year, he'll be the go-to Brit. I'd throw Piotr Pawlicki's name in there, alongside Loktaev of the Ukraine, and the young Russian Tarasenko.
  17. As it stands, the PL would only be a minimum of 14 meetings, only 4 more than now. That's do-able, surely?
  18. <unacceptable language removed> Well done Mr Hancock - I sense a title-winning retirement coming up
  19. What a farce. All 4 back, surely? What a <unacceptable language removed> this referee is!
