2010 World Championship Calendar
Mama replied to ballinger's topic in International World of Speedway
Sanok will not stage the Ice Team World Cup because Polish federation is not interested in participating in this championship - there is not enough good ice racers in Poland. -
My friend asked me about exact Dates of Birth (day, month, year) of some speedway riders - I know some of them but there are also some which I don't. Ukraine Speedway League 2009
Mama replied to Lake Bodom Comet's topic in International World of Speedway
There will be kind of "salary limit" in Ukrainian league, so not to many foreign riders are interested in participating ... -
Conkers - me and some people from Bydgoszcz and Ostrów will come to Berlin this year
-
Ekstraleague - 8 teams - 7 per team - twice all + po - 2 teams per meeting 1st division - 8 teams - 8 per team - twice all + po - 2 teams per meeting 2nd division - 8 teams - 8 per team - twice all + po - 2 teams per meeting

The practice on Friday is open for public and entrance is free. It'll start at 15:00. If you are in Bydgoszcz on Friday it shouldn't be any problem with buying tickets at the ticket offices. The best place to watch the meeting and feel its atmosphere is the back straight - but you should be at the stadium few hours before the meeting to get quite good places.

Putting better junior at 7/15 is really good option - in most cases he replaces weakest junior from 6/14 but sometimes also another not so good rider ... The best option is to have 2 strong juniors - than you have quite good tactical situation ... As for TV - public TV has the rights for Extraleague meetings and it should be the same situation like last season ... Unfortunately there is no TV interested in showing 1st and 2nd leagues - maybe at some regions local TV will show matches of their "own" teams.
-
Each match-team consists of 7 riders - at least 2 juniors (6,7/14,15), at least 1 of them have to ride with Polish licence, at least 3 riders have to ride with Polish licences. Juniors with numbers 7 and 15 are kind of reserve - they have 1 programmed ride each but can replace any other rider. Max 2 GP riders are allowed to start in each match-team.

Ice Racing November December 2009 Berlin
Mama replied to sjw ministerofport's topic in International World of Speedway
For now there is no scheduled meeting at that time in Berlin. But november and december for ice speedway are in the 2010 season so you should wait some months for the detailed calendar ... Try to check regularly this web site -> http://speedway.org/kalender/2009/index.html -
Yes, we have clubs in Poland Each club has his own stadium with the track (sometimes the owner of the stadium is city). There are 3 leagues in Poland - Extraleague (8 teams), 1st league (8 teams) and 2nd league (the rest - for 2009 will be 7 or 8 clubs). 3 of these clubs are foreign ones - Latvian Daugavpils in 1st league and Hungarian Miskolc + Ukrainian Rowne in 2nd league. This year we had different league systems in different leagues but for the 2009 season the system will be the same. 14 league rounds in regular season - every team meets with each other 2 times (1 home match and 1 away). Then TOP-6 will have play-off rounds for medals/promotion and 7-8 teams will have play-off against relegation (8th team will be relegated and 7th team will have race-off with 2nd team from lower league). Match format - 15 heats, 1st heat is "junior heat" and 14th + 15th heats are "nominated heats" (two best scorers from each team are not allowed to ride in heat 14). In Extraleague teams consist of 7 riders - max 2 GP riders, min 2 junior riders (numbers 6,7/14,15 - 1 of them have to be Pole), min 3 Polish riders. Home team gets numbers from 9 to 15, guests get numbers from 1 to 7. Riders with numbers 7 and 15 are "reserve" riders and have only 1 programmed heat each but are allowed to replace any other rider. In 1st and 2nd leagues teams consist of 8 riders - max 2 GP riders, min 2 junior riders (numbers 6,7/14,15 - 1 of them have to be Pole), min 3 Polish riders. Home team gets numbers from 9 to 16, guests get numbers from 1 to 8. Riders with numbers 7,8 and 15,16 are "reserve" riders. 7 and 15 have only 1 programmed heat each but are allowed to replace any other rider. 8 and 16 don't have any programmed heat but are allowed to replace other rider - if they are juniors, they can replaced any other rider but if they are seniors, they can replace only seniors. Scoring system is very simple - 2 points for victory, 1 for draw, 0 for loosed match. After revange matches better team in each teams-pair gets 1 bonus point. Important thing is that all matches from each round are staged the same day (like in Sweden) - mostly on Sundays.

Mateusz - you aren't right! Toruń got ~61 million zł for the ground in place of old stadium. (they were really happy then because first estimated cost of new stadium was ~30 million zł) After preparing right project, estimated cost increased to ~100 million zł - if the city want to make also the roof covering the track, the cost will be ~110 million zł (for now - if they'll decide to postpone making the second stage of that roof, the cost will increase to ~130 million zł)

League Matches After Both Polish Gp's!
Mama replied to Mateusz's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
If you'll be in Bydgoszcz few days before the match, it's possible to buy the ticket in the club office. -
If Polonia will be promoted to the play-off finals, the final match will be staged at 25 of October (instead of 18 of October) - due to GP commitement. And Polonia Bydgoszcz fans are concentrated on 2 another dates than Lawrence wrote ... These dates are 11 & 25 of October

In Toruń normal tickets for semifinal with Zielona Góra costed 30 zł + 5 zł programme and for the final with Leszno 35 zł + 10 zł programme (A4 format). I think the most expensive tickets were in Gorzów and Zielona Góra. -
It's not the first time KevH ... So maybe Gorican took the qualifier which should be organized in Poland??

If you really want to feel the Bydgoszcz GP atmosphere, you should come at Friday (or even earlier ) and stay in one of Bydgoszcz hotels. There are quite lot of them - but sometimes at similiar time there is kind of medical congress in Bydgoszcz and lot of hotels may be sold out (earlier reservation is prefered). Polonia stadium is about 15 minutes of walking from the city centre (5 minutes from the bus station) and if you prefere higher standard hotel, you should take City Hotel (about 10 minutes of walking from the stadium), Pod Orłem Hotel (about 15 minutes of walking) or Brda Hotel (about 25 minutes of walking) - the last one is situated close to the railway station. I think most of foreign fans stay at these hotels. Food and drinks are rather not to expensive for foreigners (eg. beer in pubs costs about 5-7 zł)

According to the Super Prix rules - if one rider win more than one GP from "Super Prix series" than the place in the final heat goes to the best rider in the final GP classification. And that's why (and only that!) Nicki tried to start in yellow helmet.

Mama replied to Bradford Ace's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Organisers from Bydgoszcz almost always use this way of ticket purchase ... The problems with tickets for GP Challange was because of organising by Zielona Dziura -
The new date is Saturday, 25th of October.

Live Polish Speedway On The Internet
Mama replied to Blazeaway's topic in International World of Speedway
Yes - almost the same. The difference is that the teams from places 5-8 after regular season also fight in final round (the same system like teams from places 1-4).
