"Speedway Fridays" - meetings with riders and another speedway people like referees, club authorities, etc.) and another Bydgoszcz speedway meetings. 4. My friend was there and spoke to some people from Częstochowa team and they told him that clubs agreed before the meeting to finish the match after 13 heats (before "nominated heats"). So maybe Tarnów decided something different during the meeting?? Thay had unexpected chance to win this match, so they decided to break the agreement??
  5. Polsat Sport will show Polish 1st league and Aces Criterion from Bydgoszcz, British Elite League and probably Swedish Elitserien. TVP Sport & TVP Info will show Polish Extraleague.
  6. Of course for teams from Daugavpils, Miskolc and Rivne "Polish speedway licence" mean Latvian/Hungarian/Ukrainian speedway licence
  7. In the match line-up each team can have max 2 GP riders (in each league). About juniors there is small difference between Extraleague and 1st+2nd leagues. In Extraleague each team must have at least 2 juniors (for 7-riders line-up) and at least one of the juniors must have Polish speedway licence. In 1st and 2nd leagues each team must have at least 3 juniors (for 8-riders line-up) and at least two of the juniors must have Polish speedway licence. The numbers for juniors are 6, 7, 8 and 14, 15, 16 - 7, 8, 15, 16 are kind of reserve riders (7+15 have some programmed rides).
  8. OK - it's clear Of course TG needs to have some really poor performance And some brilliant ones ...
  9. I know predictions are really personal thing, but if 4th speedway rider of the World do well "only in a few GPs", what to say about the rest (from lower places)??
  10. Hi Pedropete Of course I remember I'll go to Leszno also - so probably we'll meet there
  11. "Anulować" in Polish means "cancel". But I don't know the reason of this situation ...
  12. SGP+SWC is totaly separate topic. 1. FIM doesn't decide about venues (IMG has the rights to) like with another World Championships. 2. BSI/IMG has signed long term contracts with organizers.
  13. How many tracks Latvia, Hungary and Croatia have? And how many of them are good tracks with good environment? And that is the answer for question why these 3 tracks get some meetings each year. Great Britain, Poland, Sweden, Czech Republic, Germany and even Denmanrk have quite lot good tracks so cities from these countries have to wait some time for next WC meeting.
  14. OK I forgot to translate some Polish abbreviation: d = engine failure u = fall w = exclusion pkt. = points
  15. GTŻ Grudziądz 31 pkt. 1. Ronnie Jamroży (1,1,2,2) 6 2. Wojciech Żurawski (0,0,-,0,0) 0 3. no rider 4. Mariusz Franków (3,3,u,1,1,0) 8 5. Mariusz Puszakowski (0,d,1,1,2) 4 6. Artur Mroczka (3,1,2,w) 6 7. Marcin Jędrzejewski (2*,1,2,0,0,0,2) 7+1 Lokomotiv Daugavpils 58 pkt. 9. Grigorij Laguta (3,3,3,3,3) 15 10. Maksim Bogdanow (2*,2*,2*,3) 9+3 11. Tomasz Bajerski (2,2*,d,1) 5+1 12. Leonid Paura (w,3,3,3,1) 10 13. Piotr Świst (3,1*,3,2*,3) 12+2 14. Jewgienij Karawackij (1,2,w,-) 3 15. Wiaczesław Gieruckij (0,1,2*,1) 4+1
  16. Good news for British fans from Birmingham and close situated places ... From 4th of July Ryanair will fly from Birmingham to Bydgoszcz (and back ) - 2 times a week (mondays and fridays). Of course you can get to Bydgoszcz by plane from some other airports: Ryanair - London (Stansted) - each day - Liverpool - wednesdays and sundays - Dublin - wednesdays and saturdays - Dusseldorf (Weeze) - mondays and fridays Jetair (as for now till 28th of March, but they'll fly later for sure) - Berlin (Tegel) - thursdays and fridays - Copenhagen (Kastrup) - mondays and fridays - Katowice - thursdays and fridays LOT - Warsaw - each day without saturdays
  17. After GP you'll have such trains from Leszno to Poznań Główny: (departure from Leszno - arrival to Poznań Główny; train type; 2nd class ticket price; 1st class ticket price) 01:34 - 02:30 (fast train; 18,00 zł; 27,00 zł) 02:05 - 03:00 ("Cheap Railways" - reservation needed; 17,00 zł; no 1st class) 03:59 - 05:10 (stopping train; 11,00 zł; no 1st class) 04:56 - 05:55 (fast train; 18,00 zł; 27,00 zł) 05:05 - 06:15 (stopping train; 11,00 zł; no 1st class) You don't need the reservation for fast and stopping trains. So my proposal is to buy the ticket in Poznań before the journey - just two way ticket with option "fast train" ("pospieszny" in Polish) on the way back. As I wrote earlier - the best option is to buy two way ticket and ask for "trip ticket" ("bilet wycieczkowy" in Polish) - you'll have 30% discount for the ticket price. So you'll pay ~25,20 zł for two way ticket for fast trains.
  18. I really don't know - maybe desperation? But frankly speaking - I've heard Simon will cooperate with mechanic/tuner from Bydgoszcz and finally he'll have engines prepared for Polish tracks
  19. This year they'll ride together in Bydgoszcz and Avesta Taking into consideration starts in Russian, Polish and Swedish leagues, Russian Championships, GP Qualifications, SWC, Junior Individual & Team World Championships and another meetings, he'll have really enough chances to ride and learn [at 26th of October he'll be just 19 years old!]
  20. He got some proposals from UK but the team decided not to start there this year regular.
  21. After 3 p.m. on Saturday 10th of May you'll have such trains from Poznań Główny to Leszno (local time): (departure from Poznań Główny - arrival to Leszno; train type; ticket prices - 2nd class, 1st class) 3:40 - 4:36 ("Cheap Railways" - reservation needed; 20,00 zł, 28,00 zł) 3:54 - 5:06 (stopping train; 11,00 zł, no 1st class) 4:59 - 6:13 (stopping train; 11,00 zł, no 1st class) 5:32 - 6:29 (fast train; 18,00 zł, 27,00 zł) 5:50 - 6:41 (express - reservation needed; 36,00 zł, 50,00 zł) During weekends you should ask for "trip ticket" ("bilet wycieczkowy") - you'll have 15% discount (one way) or even 30% discount (two way ticket). As Rico wrote - the best way is to come to Poznań earlier - just not to act under time pressure ...
  22. You'll have 2 closer meetings that day - 1st league in Bydgoszcz and 2nd league in Gniezno
  23. But Ostrów will not organize the meeting when they have away league match ...
