  2. Tarabanko - there is small mistake in Round 18 (September 2). It should be "Västervik - Piraterna" instead of "Piraterna - Västervik" (match Piraterna - Västervik is scheduled in Round 9). Is it official Elitserien calendar?
  3. Maciej Piaszczyński was part of Polish national team in Junior Team World Championship semifinal in Poznań - he scored 10 points in 4 heats and was beaten only by the best riders in Australian (Chris Holder - 16 points in 6 heats) and Russian (Emil Sajfutdinow - 12 points in 6 heats) teams. As appeared few months later - he was beaten by the Individual Junior World Champion and Vice-Champion Piaszczyński was born in 1989 and started his speedway career when he was 15 years old in German league (in Poland he could get the licence when he was 16). This year he represented club from Poznań in Polish 1st league and got the heat average 1,451 (at home track 1,684 and away 1,182). [E.g. Kaj Laukkanen had heat average 1,489 - also in Polish 1st league] He is quite offensive rider and I think he is able to score quite good in Allsvenskan ...
  4. And also Adrian Gomólski goes to Ostrów - he is borrowed from Gniezno.

  10. My dear friend Tarabanko One of this year Team Bikab riders told me that the team will not ride in 2008. After your answer I think he wanted to say that the team will not ride in Allsvenskan in 2008 ...

  13. Unfortunately Krystian will probably have to leave Bydgoszcz With such number of riders in the Polonia line up there is no place for him I don't understand some decissions of Polonia chief - for Polish league Klecha is really better rider then Stead ...
  14. Polonia Bydgoszcz has almost completed the line-up for next season - today Rafał Okoniewski has signed the contract ... Polonia Bydgoszcz 2008: - Andreas Jonsson - surprise (GP rider) - Jonas Davidsson - Rafał Okoniewski - Krzysztof Buczkowski - Christian Hefenbrock (at least 10 matches) - Simon Stead U-21 riders - Emil Sajfutdinow - Marcin Jędrzejewski - Michał Łopaczewski - Marcin Mazur ? Now we're waiting till the end of November for the final decission about the Unia Tarnów case - if they won't pay their debts and show the budget guarantees for next season, they'll be probably relegated from Extraliga and Polonia will take this place ...
  15. At the website http://rozklad.pkp.pl/bin/query.exe/en you can check the train connections in Poland. But you should waite some times because Polish train schedule will change some times till September 2008 (last change will take place probably on June). Using this site you should write correct names of the stations/stops (if you are not able, write names without Polish letters and than take the correct name from the list). If going from Poznań to Bydgoszcz you'll use probably main stations: Poznań Główny Bydgoszcz Główna
  16. Tarnów signed the contract with Peter Juul Larsen They have time to the end of November to pay off their debts (for now they paid off only Gollob brothers) and show the budget guarantees for the 2008 season.
  17. For now you can fly to Bydgoszcz from: - London (Stansted) - each day (by RyanAir) - Dublin - Wednesdays and Saturdays (by RyanAir) - flights back the same days - Liverpool - Wednesdays and Sundays (by RyanAir) - flights back the same days Flights schedule and another information at the web site of Bydgoszcz Airport (also English version) - http://www.plb.pl/
  18. The UEM calendar (of course not only) meeting will take place between 7th and 9th of November.
  19. Nicki wants 2.000.000 złotych for next season in Polish Ekstraliga - so I really wish him lot of luck in finding new club
  20. Maybe Ekstraliga will ride on some Fridays and/or U21 Team World Final will be on Saturday ...
  21. Exactly Subedei! Thanks to the U-21 final, there won't be any problem with the "Zlata prilba" line-up! No - after waking up he just won't be the U-21 champ
  22. In Polish lower leagues the play-off is proceed only in 1st league. After regular season teams were split into 2 groups: - teams from places 1-4 - teams from places 5-8 In the play-off the teams gain "match points" in typical way - 2 for victory, 1 for draw, 0 for loose (no bonus points, no special points for away victory). If after 2 matches there is draw in match points (2:2), the teams meet one more time (at the track of the team higher placed after regular season). 1st play-off round consists of matches: a) 1-4 b ) 2-3 --- c) 5-8 d) 6-7 (the numbers mean the place after regular season) 2nd play-off round consists of matches: e) winner a) - winner b ) --- f) looser c) - looser d) After 2nd play-off round the final classification is made: 1. Winner e) - advanced to the Extraleague 2. Looser e) - race-off with 7th Extraleague team for last place in Extraleague 3. Higher placed after regular season from loosers a), b ) 4. Lower placed after regular season from loosers a), b ) --- 5. Higher placed after regular season from winners c), d) 6. Lower placed after regular season from winners c), d) 7. Winner f) - race-off with 2nd team from 2nd league for last place in 1st league 8. Loser f) - relegation to 2nd league 1st team from 2nd league advance directly to 1st league. But we need to wait for final decissions of Extraleague management in case of "wild cards" (the meeting will be held this Wednesday) and decissions of Polish speedway management in case of integrate 1st and 2nd leagues in one league.
