We did have a bit of a preview of Nike at Sheffield's press and practice when he had a big off. Think it's fair to say the air bag repairers on the tight tracks could be very busy when Scunny are in town.

Very encouraging start for the Tigers and plenty more to come. Really pleased to see Andre going so well after his crash last year and him and Steady at 1 and 2 really are an awesome partnership particulary at Owlerton. Josh is much improved on last season being very unlucky to called back in 2 races when on clear 5-1s then outgated by the Scunny rider in the rerun. Ash, David and Ty very solid in the engine room and Arthur just needs a few more laps. Hope it warms up next week as that's as cold as I ever remember Owlerton during the speedway season.

Yes Ash Tech are the engine tuners for all the Tigers riders this year and Ashley Holloway was at Press day last week to help the riders and all the Tigers riders all looked very fast.

It's hard to judge the crowd at Owlerton when the Sportsman, Hare and Hounds and Panorama room are open, but certainly looked up there with one of the biggest crowds since we had the World Cup in 2002 when the backstraight stand was open. As for the event, Speedway in my opinion gets so many things wrong, but yesterday speedway got it right !!! Great riders, great track, great racing, great crowd, great atmosphere and all for a great bloke !!! Big well done to all involved !!!

When riding for Sheffield, Covatti really struggled at Plymouth and Edinburgh, did ok at Redcar but the STMP is not as technical as Plymouth or Armadale.

Would be interesting to know how Manzares has been approved and Taylor Poole hasn't ??

For unpredictability, Roman Matousek - anything can and did happen on and off track when Roman was riding and massively talented rider.

I'm sure Ben would be an option but the promotion will probably want to make best use of the average we have, if we used Ben we'd be a point below the points limit.

I wasn't surprised either, I honestly thought Taylor would have pushed on in 2015 as he was making great progress before his injury, but we'll not find that out now. Hopefully he'll get through the state championships next winter and will be in a Tiger's race jacket in 2016.

I would imagine the Plymouth match will be the PL meeting. It would be a surprise if the PLRC moved away from Owlerton as it is too much of a money spinner for the BSPA.
