Poole Pirates Vs Kings Lynn Stars 12/07/17
Mark replied to Shaleshifter's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I really don't like Shovel Load of S***. A horrible character who loves to write hurtful stuff. Writing rubbish about Klindt is very poor. The guy is trying to earn a living and there is no money when not working. But with one leg badly injured it must be very hard but he gets called a bottle job. What a terrible supporter you are. You can't spell. -

If Klindt was an office worker he would be offered counseling, half days, travel outside rush hour. But in speedway yep, sack him. -

they do have to eat somewhere FFS. Nandos is chicken. Nowt wrong with that. Rosco got team selection right against the Aussies. The opposition was weak but England won. My observation about Rosco is he is too close to the riders, trying to be too friendly. Doesnt happen in other sports, managers do not mix with the team. There has to be some fear. -

Good point. Nielsen makes loads of errors. Look at football with Ferguson, Wenger and Mourinho who were not great players. They manage people and tactics. The mechanics can do the technical stuff for the riders. Did Pete Adams ever ride a bike. -

Agree with much of what you say but Cookie made starts on Saturday in a couple of heats but just wasn't fast enough to keep the lead. Cook has ridden in two Cardiff GP's minimum so a big crowd shouldn't faze him but maybe expectation did. Worrall burst the tapes on his first ride so that probably was nerves but was decent after that. Both are very inexperienced at national level for England (that is my name for the team) and we should be getting these riders in the SEC with haste. We must be frank in saying that England rode very well on home soil but they beat a poor Australian team with no Doyle and an injured Morris. Had we gone down the play off route the team would have been hammered worse than in the final.. -

I agree but its only our stupid points system, not working for the top riders, that kept him out. Shame. Iversen very loyal to GB. -

Well done to Tai. I wouldn't work in a dangerous sport for nothing.

Good stat. Bjerre just as bad and cost Denmark with 0 from joker ride. Poland win easy. If England (Team GB) come 3rd it would be a huge achievement. They will do well to get 25pts. Realistic not unsupportive. -

Denmark manager must die on his sword. Poor. Talking after the event but no Kildermand or Andersen. MJJ and Madsen instead. 2016 dropped Pedersen controversially. That did not work. Made bad calls last 2 years and so he has to go. Embarrassing. -

Cards on table. Realistically GB will finish a last on Saturday but will show loads of fight.. Cook will go quite well and may get 10pts from 5 rides with a joker played, Lambert 7pts but the other two will struggle. Bomber is a lovely trier who you cant help but like however he will struggle (5pts max) whilst Worrall has a hard night ahead. He may not get more than 2pts. Ellis 0pts. If GB get 25pts it will be a success but we could a few less. Sweden to win tonight. Either Australia, only if Doyle rides, or Denmark to win the play off. -

Agree with you on many points. Its pretty obvious why some top riders don't ride here. Mainly financial, the traveling, having to have bikes and crew in the UK, racing on more than one night a week. Some riders have said some of the tracks are terrible and potentially dangerous especially Poole. I accept there stance, why race for lower pay on a poor track with the added hassle of getting flights on random nights during a week. Doubt its anything due to loyalty to GB speedway but instead for the reasons I have listed. One thing that may see a change is that Sweden seems to have some financial problems so some riders might be tempted to come here rather than Sweden. Is Iversen still owed a big sum from 2016. Chicken and Egg. -

I agree. Maybe doing things the wrong way but obviously trying to help GB riders. I was listening to Craig Cook's interview during the play off on Saturday. He said Rossiter had a fitness expert with him for the Kings Lynn meeting and the guy was watching what the riders ate. Kebabs and pizza are off the menu in 2017. Maybe Woffy's comments from 2016 helped achieve that improvement.. Well done Woffy. I see nothing big headed or arrogant with these comments. If you dish it out then you must expect it back. -

He's a superb rider and I want him in the team. No sports person is loved by everyone. Twitter allows stars to chat with fans but also allows personal abuse from mindless idiots. When it gets given back I think its warranted and not a problem. Its deserved. Maybe its unprofessional in some ways but why take crap from people who have never met you. You are blocked from his twitter. Now how did that happen or can I guess. Maybe you are the sort of hateful person I would never want to meet. .You talk about respect. It goes two ways.
