  1. Ben Barker will do better than last time in the cup. He has always been good at Poole and that was an off night for him. Morley guested for Leicester a couple of weeks ago and beat Drew in reserve race. But hot day on Weds so track will be a lot different to the Leicester meeting! So I would say Poole by 8 but closer if the danes have a good night.
  2. Prob cos of Poland it's not on a Saturday anymore!
  3. Why wouldn't it be streamed? Sure BSN would and if not the club would do it anyway. Though not sure on pricing as extra heats than normal?
  4. Where does it say it is going to be on a Weds?
  5. Hmm, rider replacement is all well and good until someone else picks up an injury during the meeting. So if they are going down that route they should have the no8 there imo.
  6. Be interested to see how Drew gets on here as he had a good meeting at Scunthorpe last Friday so hopefully he's got something good working now.
  7. Yeah, quick look at their fixture list says they are riding against Glasgow. Also Brum are at home to Redcar.
  8. No, welcome to British Speedway you mean!!
  9. I think Poole's track had problems for years and was sorted out at the end of August/beginning of September and have been rewarded with a big meeting. Poole did stage the ELRC a few times in the past too. I still think it is unfair to be penalised because of where the track is. As with most places there are good parts and bad parts of any town or city. I'm sure Edinburgh is the same. Only takes a bit of research to know where the good parts are.
  10. Yes but my point was when push came to shove fans still travelled to it even though people moaned then about the location saying it should have been more central like Coventry. At the end of the day, every track should be given the chance to stage a big meeting and not be penalised cos of geography.
  11. Lol, why does it have to be neutral? Considering most riders double up to be neutral would have to be at a national league track!! I'll ignore the trolling comment and maybe you'll grow up a bit. It's good enough for millionaires
  12. Don't think they can use Harris away from home anymore cos of averages, whereas at home you are allowed 5% above for no1. Skidder did mention Howarth or Pickering.
  13. If you live down here then it's definitely up north lol. Anyway when Poole held the World Cup managed to attract a crowd of at least 5k, didn't seem a problem then.
  14. Okay for Glasgow to hold the GB test match though! No thought for Oxford, Poole, Plymouth fans there that might want to go. Seems a bit hypocritical to me for Glasgow fans to moan about it. Although if it had to go up north at a Championship club then I would say Scunthorpe or Redcar.
  15. I would assume it will streamed anyway either on BSN or Poole's one..?
  16. So one of the SEC rounds is at Rybnik, Poland on July 2nd!
  17. Yes, very good racing. Similar to Redcar. Is that typical for Scunthorpe or did we just get lucky with going there on a good day?
  18. It was on Saturday 2nd July not a Sunday!! But prob to do with racing in Poland anyway!
  19. Only just! He didn't make it easy for himself going so deep in the bends but seemed to have more straight line speed than Dougie. Maybe I'm being overly harsh idk, I was just surprised considering he was struggling most of the time.
  20. Maybe not, but you would hope Steve would and his partner get a third. Maybe Danny really wanted to do H15 idk, but was kinda surprised with the choice as second lowest scorer!
  21. Exactly why you have to time it well as if you use it at the wrong time then can stop you from getting back in the meeting, unless you do it the hard way of course!
  22. Easy to say that now! Still think they were waiting to do it in H9 and replace one of the reserves that was out with Lawson with Steve. Considering Zach struggled in his first two rides, who'd have thought he'd pop out and win H8? I didn't think we were going to get a 5-1 in that one!
  23. Disagree with that! You need to time it right imo and also have best 2 riders, so sometimes you can't do it straight away. Very rarely to you see anyone in the Championship do it straight away! Most wait til they are strongest.
  24. With hindsight probably yes but who knew we would have only a few heats to use it!
  25. Tough for weakest second string to be at 4 though! I think they definitely need H8.
