28.03. Aces v Tigers - Northern League Cup
LisaColette replied to Col's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
In the current economic climate I'd say that is pretty good going! Would be a big crowd at some tracks. -
Then don't sign someone who is new to the league!

Wolves v Brummies (Past & Present) 28th March 2022

Birmingham didn't do that bad I thought. I don't think Vissing would have got 11? And Lawson did better than Auty would have. Good to see the Poole riders have a good night anyway! -

Erm.... -
Not so good for my heart when we are hanging on though lol! Guess I have been lucky seeing so many finals, but you never know if it is the last one for a while. So I try to enjoy it as much as possible. I do hope Birmingham and Newcastle get decent crowds this season so they can continue for years to come. At least with the track sorted now, the racing should be good.

Sure Ben will be fine, he is good friends with Hans anyway, is he not? I'm sure Hans will help with any advice. Though be better if he doesn't have the pressure on him as he is hard on himself as it is!

Plymouth Gladiators 2022

You don't seem too worried so guessing so something is in the works. -
Ah really. I mean I'm a Southampton fan, but still really enjoy it when Poole make a final. But I agree a club surviving is way more important.

Ipswich Vs Kings Lynn Thurs March 31st LC
LisaColette replied to Arch Stanton's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Well hallelujah if that is the case! Even more reason not to be in the Prem. -
Lawson did alright, didn't he!!
-
-
Yes, so always going to have a good reserves. Has Jack Thomas rode in the Prem before? Have only seen him at Poole and he was really good!!
-
We'll see. Gets said every season. He does tend to do a lot better in England when the Polish season hasn't started or after it has finished.
-
Bottom 2? They look strong all the way through to me! Take out NKI and Thomas and they are all proven Championship heatleaders!! The other teams must be amazing then.
-
Whatever replacements they have, they had to be equal. Kyle has been in the Poole team for a few years in the past and Bjarne was with Bowtell at Plymouth last year. I don't see a problem with it. Don't forget he has got the British youngsters there as well. Tbh you are really going to say goodbye to Bjarne more than anything. Considering how much he has given to Poole in the past, he deserves a big crowd.
-
Panthers a league higher though, so can't have the full team. Need to level it down a bit! Yes. However Dan Ford said he is a bit sceptical it is going to impact on the crowd. So let's hope we get enough views so it gets continued throughout the year but the crowd level doesn't go down too much. However if Basso gets put in the farewell meeting, guarantee the crowd level will go up!

I'm also quite good at blocking out any background noise I don't want to listen to (I grew up with 2 brothers, so it is kind of necessary!!). So heard the interviews fine.
-
If any sport should be getting rid of draws, it should be cricket rather than speedway!
-
Quite surprising really as Alex Brady posts quite often on twitter.
-
Yeah they announced at the beginning of the p+p live stream at Poole that Lawson was ill and they were told the day before. They are hopeful he will be riding in Bjarne's farewell meeting. Not sure if KL have a meeting before Weds?
-
I just turned the volume up and it was fine. Was watching on my phone though.
-
I had it freezing for about a min at a time 10 times in one match during Indian Wells. So I was expecting some sort of buffering/freezing in todays stream at Poole. But there really wasn't any! Although I see they are doing it through YT so should run smoothly.
