Nope, but then again everyone thought he was going to be a HL after one good meeting in Aussie so maybe they learnt their lesson too? Can't just have it one way.
I meant as he didn't score as many as last time? But tbf I was viewing it after H16. But he has since doubled his score. So maybe I spoke too soon as well!
They did say crowds were down on a Thursday compared to a Weds. But it wasn't the only reason for dropping down They also said running Championship reduced costs by 30% I think it was.
However in 2018/2019 wasn't it home one week and away the next? People probably just found other things to do and dropped the speedway. I think if it was every single week at home prob would have been fine.
It always seems to get talked about every winter. Here is the answer from the horses mouth as it were .
“I know a few Poole supporters were hoping that we would go up (to the Premiership).
“But we’ve already stated our reasons for being in the Championship a million times. Fixed race nights simply don’t work for us at Poole.
“A Monday and a Thursday would be a huge financial risk for us. I know there was some comments about that, so I just wanted to address that.

Just don't see any weak links with Redcar, whereas others have them. Like, Glasgow is the second strings, Plymouth don't have 3 HLs, Oxford and Berwick have a 'weaker' 3rd HL.
The Oxford one is an interesting one as I know you rate them quite highly. I would have them as a top 3 team. But others aren't including Gavin Parr as he had Poole, Redcar, Glasgow and Scunny as top 4 (don't think it was in that order though!) on the Bears Talk FB live thingy.
I would go with atm:
Redcar
Oxford
Poole
Scunny
Glasgow
Berwick
Workington
Edinburgh
Plymouth
Feel like the top 5 is relatively easy. But who you leave out of the playoffs in 5th place is a hard decision!
Interesting if true, you would have thought Berwick, Plymouth etc would have taken him on a 5?
I would have thought if we were going to have a 5 ish point rider, we would have kept Rowe.
Arnie isn't a Poole fan. But you keep bringing up Thomsen, so it is down to you
As Arnie says if they do it that way for everyone then fine. But shouldn't be done whichever way fits best. I always thought it was average then minus 2.5% and then round up or down as needed.
