Not sure why you keep saying 10 years, the poster who brought this discussion up, said in the last twenty years. BV are the equilvant to Liverpool if you want to compare it to football, whereas Poole are like Chelsea... Not sure how a club is considered big when they haven't won the league since 1993 though, it's a long time ago!

Well watching Chris Holder's instragram stories recently, he said he will not appearing at Berwick or Wolves next year. Is that because he means he isn't interested in riding for Wolves? Or that he isn't riding in Britain in '19??

When he first took over at Poole, he did think of speedway in the UK as a whole especially at the AGMs, but he got burnt a few times by other promoter's so he decided to just put Poole first.

How can you call anyone else strange when 'apparently' you spend 90% of your time on Poole threads, but not because you are genuinely interested but because you like trolling and putting out negative posts. But you don't spend time on Ipswich ones, I am going by other Poole fans on this as I never go on the Championship threads. 2. So if we scraped into the playoffs as you put it, why do we have the pressure? Pressure will be on the favourites, which is Somerset and possibly KL cos they finished top.

I certainly wouldn't begrudge BV being champions, been very unlucky/unfortunate in the playoffs over the years. I just started going to speedway when BV last won it, I was 11!

Why is the pressure on Poole and not Somerset? Somerset finished higher up the table, I would have thought the pressure was on them to make the final.
