Of those, Sedgy flies at Peterborough and Armadiddle. He is decent at Fox Holes. Middling at Sheffo. Not brilliant at Weegieville.

So you don't like Sedgy - fair enough. But putting him at 5 is crazy - and doing it twice at tracks that are not his favourites is total insanity. Should be looking for a new team manager.

I would have Sedgy at 2 - was always his best position.

Can't see any real reason why Ippo won't pick up the points in this one. Unless a Newcy team turns up that's unlike the ones that have turned up so often this season.

I fear our participation in the play-offs is on more and more of a shoogly peg. We picked up early good wins when Mark & Josh were scoring well but as both have dropped their scoring so we have struggled to even pick up 1 pointers away. And we are more vulnerable than usual at home - especially to the likes of the weegies and Ippo. Need Cleggy to get more points away from home (gating would help!) / need Rickaaaaayyyyy to get back his early season zing / need Mitch to pretend he's in an NL meeting / need Mark & Josh to pick it up like before. But on the plus side Smiler is going well as usual and Erik the Young Riss is absolutely flying.

If your not paying I'm not going. But I might not be going anyway. Will it be raining?

Given Sedgy's known dislike of the Berwick track it seems a strange decision by the team manager to switch him to number 5.

Crikey Ippo did their best to chuck that one away.

Don't be daft. I was only kidding. I posted hours (or was it days) before the meeting that I wouldn't be going because I didn't think Scunny would make it good entertainment. And so it proved I believe.

I'm all ears too 'cos I didn't go because I thought it was pissing down with rain (or maybe because I thought the entertainment might be piss poor).

Seems to be a lot of sickness amongst riders this season. Never known a season like it.

According to the post match video review, Gary Fling was introduced and interviewed as Berwick Team Manager. David Howe also interviewed - came across as a really decent, natural kind of bloke.

We had 9 rain-offs last season plus others that were rain-affected.. Cost the club an absolute fortune.

A very pleasant 14 degrees in Armadiddle!! Might get down to 13 during the meeting.
