  1. Rory Sclein Racing one I think. says track should have been sorted before the meeting started and then Nick might not have been hurt.
  2. It changed over a period of time. I was actually a season ticket holder and sponsor not that long ago. But I got more and more unhappy/disillusioned about their way of doing things (and with a couple of supporters) that I tipped over the edge. Shame because it's such a good race track and the supporters' club put in a huge amount of effort. And it's one of only a couple of venues that you would be happy to take anyone along to.
  3. Heavens GB you are so easily offended nowadays. Hate as in a sporting context obviously. I hate the Weegies. The Weegies hate us. At least it shows a little bit of enthusiasm amidst the morass of apathy overwhelming the sport. Maybe you've forgotten what enthusiasm you used to have? And I have been happy to have a drink with Weegy supporters and Panters ones. I might draw a line at Kings Lynn sometimes though. 😉
  4. Slick tracks are likely not helping. And just so few personalities in the sport. And being completely disrespectful I don't see Scunny as much of a draw. I will probably travel 90 miles each way on Sunday to watch the Panties get taken down by the Weegies - hate both teams equally so completely neutral - but the racing might be decent. Won't bother going 48 miles each way to watch ippo v Scunny.
  5. Nothing much to say. Not the sort of fixture that'll have the masses queuing round the block. Hope the weather has behaved enough that there is a decent track tonight. The rain killed it for the past couple of matches. Scunny could run us close but that's more because we are only really running on 3 cylinders out of 7 (assuming 2 halves make 1 cylinder). No huge home advantage as has been evident by the closeness of most matches this season. I'm struggling to get enthused by this one. But I might venture over to the Showoff Ground on Sunday to see if Oystercard is still as rubbish as the last time I saw him.
  6. Top but have played a lot home matches. And had some shaky nights at home.
  7. Glad the racing was good. The updates looked like a tapes fest and a one sided humping. Shame cookie wasn't on it. What happened to TJ?
  8. Well done Red Cars. Good all round performance. Far too many last places from our boys. Need some improvement to make the play-offs.
  9. 'Fraid not Absolutely gutted but have to go with the missus to a show in London. Won't even be able to watch the Updates for this or our Red Cars meeting - so double gutted. Not many attractions come to Ippo but Cookie is certainly near the top.
  10. Ippo should be top 3 as a certainty - decent chance of top 2 since no-one else can ride foxholes - outside chance of being top of the pile. Sedgy will be the key.
  11. Got to agree with that. In theory we could have replaced Mark Riss with tungate but I doubt we would have even contemplated it.
  12. I see Sedgy was flying tonight. Was only a matter of time.
  13. Danking still rolling I see - courtesy of Speedway updates poole very leicester.
  14. I believe you are wrong. But the conversion factor from PL to CL etc has not yet been announced (probably not even worked out yet).
  15. Cookie does a lot of his winning after not making the gate. He is certainly not a tating gart.
