Absolutely. And I've now cancelled the thought of going to Dorset for a holiday - what with the dire dross speedway and the dangerous bus station. I'm sure the racing at Poole was better when they had all the wavy bits and the proper craters.

Only saw last 8/9 heats. Weej were as expected. Scunny were as expected apart from Dougie who was excellent - great gating (just a tiny bit of creeping here and there). Star was Greg Blair though. The guy is such an enthusiastic broadcaster - puts so many professionals to shame.

Poor night at the office. Well done Bandits though - strong all through the team. Watch BSN stream for a change. Greg Blair was fantastic - such a natural at the job!! Interesting he talked to Jacob Hook about the split start & finish lines and about it being stressed to the riders not to shut off too early. So what does Paco do.................?!! (Well it looked like that to me.)

I had an email from them this morning outlining the issues and the resolution. They advised the full meeting is available to view on the website. They also offered a full refund because of the inconvenience, as a goodwill gesture. That's an extremely generous offer. But I will not be taking it up, having been able to watch 14 of the heats, albeit a few heats behind the live action. Good luck to the Academy lads and the promotion.
