  1. OK. So we will just ignore the "NEG PLR" next to Danny's average on the BSPA NL Averages then!
  2. Is Danny eligible to guest for a number 7, as he's already declared in a 1-7 PL team?
  3. Better tell The White Knight.... who knows, he might come back and support the team......
  4. August averages: Robert 8.51 Steve 8.41 Ludde 7.42 Matej 6.81 Victor 5.25 Lewis 5.12 Danny 3.00
  5. Simon Nielsen is fit again, so should be at number 6 for the Bears.
  6. Cracking result. Great to see Danny Phillips among the 'genuine' points. Great guest in The Fish. A professional job done by all Diamonds Bring on the Semi!!
  7. We should have enough of a lead, but anything can happen on the night. It's a pity Jason Garrity isn't fit. His races against Robert Lambert the last time we were there were worth the admission alone.
  8. 1st and 2nd bends and back straight to stand. Home straight is the main stand where you have to sit down. The pies are highly recommended. Burgers are nice too. Alternatively Smiths chippy afterwards.
  9. That could have been me on the other thread! Getting my Edinburgh riders mixed up!
  10. Can't remember if it's Fisher or Wolbert (!), but one of them was announced as guest by Roy last night for Steve (riding for Belle Vue).
  11. I asked Victor in the pits tonight and he said both he and Ludde were at Sheffield on Thursday.
  12. Wolbert (or did Roy say Fisher?? !!) for Steve, otherwise 2-7 unchanged from tonight.
  13. How both see it: Sheffield: http://www.sheffieldspeedway.co/news.php?extend.2112 Newcastle: http://www.newcastlediamonds.co/news/article.asp?id=100567
  14. Kus, I think, will be on World Cup duty for Czech Rep, so will miss the Semi Final (don't know about the second day IF we get through). Great to come away from OTA with a League Point and fantastic to see Danny getting 5+1 (however he got them). Let's hope that's the confidence booster he needs.
  15. R/R for Steve Worrall: http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/speedway/newcastle-diamonds-toughest-away-fixture-11613513#ICID=sharebar_facebook
  16. Sorry, but that is wrong on so many counts. For a start, had Josh Bailey ridden Brough Park before? Would Lewi Kerr have come back for a second season if he hated the track?
  17. He started off fine, though, it's just in recent weeks he has found points hard to come by. Last night he made a couple of good gates and went into the first turn in either first or second place, but by the start of the back straight, was at the back in one of them, but did battle well in the race he scored his point in. He's been scoring OK for Stoke in the NL recently, but, for whatever reason, hasn't been able to transfer that at PL level.
  18. Connor Mountain rides for Mildenhall, who also ride on a Sunday, so would he want to step up virtually full-time?
  19. Because, for some bizarre reason, the BSPA agreed to this rule! The way I see it is this (in my opinion, of course) and I say this regards any team effected, not just because it's Newcastle, Robert Lambert was never going to be riding last night for Newcastle. He withdrew from the meeting at Coventry through injury, not the Newcastle match, so the Diamonds should have been allowed the guest last night. On Friday at Somerset, should RL still be out injured, then it should be R/R as he is unavailable to ride for Newcastle (and all subsequent meetings for both clubs). It's like saying last night at 7.30pm.,"It's raining at Coventry, so tonight's match at Brough is postponed"!!!! It's doing the guest out of a pre-arranged (and booked in good faith) booking and therefore extra income and, more importantly, it's short-changing the fans (again). But, seeing as we were making the rules up as we went along (heat 15) last night, what do you expect?
  20. Facebook page says "Latest News Is Captain Lightning Ludvig Lindgren Will Be Able To Ride And Lead The Side Tonight."
  21. Depends what you mean by experienced. Wilko has been riding a heck of lot longer than Howarth has. Kyle started in 2009 (at least made his debut then), Wilko made his debut in 1997!
