  1. There used to be a MINIMUM Average for the team total. I presume that still exists.
  2. Practice and P&P (Northern Launch) dates confirmed: http://www.newcastlediamonds.co/news/article.asp?id=100484
  3. I don't think that the average of one rider would make much difference, but the averages of the 6 riders (not inc. the number 7) added together might.
  4. It often comes down to figures, as to whether a rider remains with a club, or not, so it's so often hard to judge if a rider is loyal, or not, as it's taken out of his hands.
  5. We are still talking about airfences here, aren't we?
  6. You're putting 2 and 2 together and making 5.

  8. Crescent Girl appears to know too, which is why I asked.
  9. On a soaking wet track at Ipswich (KOC Final 2012) they used sawdust. Once a few races were run, it was fine.
  10. 2 June 1928...... https://www.monmoredogs.co.uk/about/Speedway/
  11. We've gone a little "off-thread" here, but as far as the quote I've highlighted, the EL, under the Sky agreement as I understood it (it might have changed), is that the EL has to have a minimum number of teams in it (not sure if it's 7 or 8), so to say drop down to the PL might be easier said than done. Also, as to your first question, yes, there will be dogs at the new stadium.
  12. First speedway meeting at Brough Park 17th May 1929.
  13. Belle Vue - NO Dogs (new stadium) Coventry - NO Dogs (ceased Jan 2016) King's Lynn - NO Dogs and own the stadium Lakeside - NO Dogs Leicester - NO Dogs and own the stadium Poole - Dogs run Tues eve Swindon - (current stadium) Dogs run Wed eve Wolves - Dogs run Thurs eve Hope this 1) helps and 2) is correct!!!
  14. Lewis Rose too? That could mean for the KL v Belle Vue matches we could be without three riders!
  15. If the rule is the same as last year, if the rider is an asset of an EL team the EL team (doesn't have to be the team with whom he's an asset) has priority. Likewise if he's an asset of a PL club (again it doesn't have to be the team with whom he's an asset) the PL team would have priority.
  16. Danny Phillips could miss the League Cup meeting at Redcar if he qualifies, too.
  17. Good move from the club. Let's hope they don't have to use it too often.

  19. He scored 11+1 at Kent in July last year as part of the Danish Touring Team from the number 1 berth.
  20. Workington site has also been off today, but both are now back up and running.
