Not this season. A PL reserve can be used.

With just a few hours to go before tapes up, I thought someone had better start a thread ! Diamonds are at full strength, with Stevie W going back up to Number 1, Christian goes back to Number 2 and Lewi K goes to three with Anton at 4. Sheffield have Josh Grajczonek as guest for Simon Stead at Number 1, while our good friend Stuart Robson guests for the injured Andre Compton, with R/R for the injured Ashley Birks.

I presume you are going off just this one meeting for that generalisation and haven't seen him at all this season? -

PL guests allowed this season (Newcastle at Sheffield had Wilkinson & Doolan for Rosen & Lindgren). -
I'll stick my neck out and say Christian will be at No.2 and Anton will be at No.4 (just a guess mind. As Manuel once said "I know nothing"!). Beat me to it Mr T!! Looking forward, as always, to be going back (almost) home. I don't expect to see the Diamonds get any points, but an exciting close meeting will do me.

Got to agree. New Averages (from 1st July) are: Stevie 7.43, Ludvig 7.32, Lewi K 7.06, Anton 6.07, Christian 5.07, Simon 3.82 and Lewis R 3.67. Total 40.44.

They aren't making any money out of it.

I was making the point towards those who have had digs at the riders, rather than making excuses for the team that was put together. On your last point, the big problem is, if you haven't a large budget to begin with, you are very limited to who you can bring in. You can't over-budget, in the hope that it will get the fans back in their droves, as it might not happen, then you are likely to lose speedway at Brough altogether. I know what you are going to say (apologies if you're not, but others may think this way), if they can't put an attractive team together, step aside and let someone else take over, but that is very unlikely to happen (in my opinion), simply because, I reckon, if it was going to happen it would have happened by now.

Are people over-looking that we at Newcastle have an in-experienced team? Let's not forget that Lewis Kerr was a 3 point reserve only 3 years ago and, like Ludvig last year, it isn't really his fault he's at number one. Steve W is only a few years into his speedway career. Ludvig is Ludvig and in the grand scheme of things still relatively inexperienced. Lewis Rose only just starting out really, too. Also most are coming back from injuries. Not excuses, really. These are just pointers. Perhaps we should give them a bit of slack.
