  1. Adam McKinna (Dudley Heathens) http://www.mckinnaracing.com/
  2. Adam McKinna (Newcastle Diamonds and Dudley Heathens) has a new Website. It can be found on the link below! http://www.mckinnaracing.com/
  3. Let's not confuse things eh?? 85 not 95!!!
  4. They have got the year wrong! Louis Carr & Joe Owen won the Pairs in '85. '86 Pairs Champs were Les Collins and Doug Wyer for Edinburgh.
  5. First of all it was Birmingham vs Ellesmere Port (not Newcastle as stated above). Joe was riding for Ellesmere Port at the time and it was 1985 not 1986. As far as Tom is concerned, he has his own Plant Hire business (also races pigeons I think!), which is doing very well. Also Tom's daughter (Emma) is married Mark Lemon.
  6. The 1976 (I think it was '76!!) team that rode at Newcastle included Jiri Stancl (George's dad), Peter Ondrasik(Pavel's dad), Lubos Tomicek and the two Verner brothers. I used to have the programme, but gave it to George Stancl a while back and can't remember, off the top of my head, the other riders!
  7. After a search on 'Google', there was a speedway story in 'Tiger' called "Tallon of the Track", which featured a female speedway rider as the main character. http://www.comicsuk.co.uk/Interviews/Scott...cottGoodall.asp
  8. Correct - it was PC. During that bit Rory McGrath said to Gary Lineker "You used to go to Leicester speedway, didn't you Gary?" and Lineker admitted he had been "once or twice".
  9. Always thought Martin Scarisbrick (Newcastle) and Graham Tattersall (Barrow) had wonderful names.
  10. There would be a British rider in it - as the Wild Card for the hosting nation.
  11. They film the Coventry matches at Brandon, so one presumes they will be filming this too.
