It is a shame Tom Brennan is riding as they could have got Ben Cook to guest who is flying at the moment but I suppose they will just have to make do with Tom! -

Definitely Its the Witches to lose, Belle Vue's bottom 3 have been poor this season, Ipswich have a much stronger team but you know Belle Vue will turn up, Ipswich may not, it happened in the cup earlier in the season. I think Doyle at 3 is a risk, Brennan at 5 at his old track maybe too much pressure for him, hope he is fresh and ready to go, I remember the play offs at Oxford for Poole when he only got 4 points, he could be vulnerable. -

And if they havent fulfilled their fixtures there should be a monetary penalty especially with the summer we have had weather wise. -

To me it was a nothing meeting where riders were probably testing things, Doyle arrived late, not ideal, he is riding better now but no point in taking any risks. I expect they were told no risks. Dan T should really be at 2 in my opinion especially at home, King should be at 3. They still should have won this meeting easily but I would expect a different result in the play offs. -

In my calculations they are one point behind so if there was an unusual race result like a 5-0 it could be a draw overall, unlikely but it is possible. -

So how it is worked out because there is no guarantee they would have a better points difference. -

No! Although some Belle Vue's wins were before Poole existed. Loved the rivalry we had, great times. -

But are not Ipswich still 3 points ahead so if Sheffield win at home they are level so it would go down to points difference. -

Tonight's meeting is not off so the drainage must be adequate.
