Or it could be the night where they ask what an amazing sport this speedway is, why didn't we think of covering it before. -
King's Lynn Stars 2017

I think through no fault of their own Lambert and Huckenbeck got caught up in this due to the confusion with the remedial work, Middlo certainly confirmed with the referee immediately that the exclusions would stand after the remedial work. It could be argued that Holder had a point due to the fact that the track needed remedial work but not in my view and as I have said before he still refused to race after having a good battle with his brother and the remedial had been done. To be honest Batchelor has a bit of a history with these things but he was having a pretty decent season. -
Of all the permutations I doubt if Worrall is being considered.

Fixture Cut Off Date...has It Been Extended?
foreverblue replied to Speedwaycrazy's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
You won't be top tonight as Swindon are riding at home against Kings Lynn. I know the fans from Belle Vue wouldn't be there to support Leicester, I meant as you were riding against a crap team it would not inspire many to go and watch a one sided meeting. Numbers have reduced drastically in recent years, in my view many get excited by the start of the season but by the end of the season enthusiasm wanes. The play offs themselves attract more fans but even the play offs don't seem to attract as many fans as they have in previous years, I don't know the answer to get the lost fans back but I don't think getting rid of the play offs is it. -
Poole Vs Wolves 16/8/17

We have no chance unless we have a slice of luck like riders from the opposition refusing to ride! We would have more chance if we could have replaced KK with someone of equal ability but we got Kennett. -

Well top is important but as you have no chance of achieving that then I suppose that doesn't matter anymore. I expect Wolves to be packed for the play offs but they too have no chance of gaining the top spot so I expect that has a bearing on attendances. Maybe their have been plenty going to away tracks on a Saturday in the past but Leicester especially with their crap team, not inspiring is it, play offs or not. I think my rubbish stirring comment worked don't you. -

Ah but it makes the league far more interesting with most having something to fight for still, not the top three as their place is safe. Coach loads going to Leicester on a Saturday, really! You forgot to mention my rubbish stirring, how remiss of you! -

It may help having Lahti at reserve but we still have crap team! Can't Kennett refuse to ride? -

I see Swindon's roll lasting I don't any way Wolves or Belle Vue can beat Swindon on current form and barring injuries. -

Kjngs lynn have double header wednesday so that another two meetings ticked off, i think Poole shouldnt be a problem and i think most teams will be ok barring rain offs. Wheres Fred Flange he normally has a opinion regarding play offs! -
We will be back at the top in 2018 i have no doubt about that.
-
I think he isn't normally found wanting in the team building stakes and to be honest it looked a decent team on paper, most have said KK was a gamble and it clearly didn't pay off, judging by his form Chris Holder hasn't done too well either so not sure what number one we could have got that would have been better as when we were looking for a nine pointer to replace KK all we could get was Kennett which was never going to work especially when it seems we could have got Jonasson.
-
In my opinion a top signing for Poole and I would say a 7 point average is a reasonable target, Kurtz has achieved a 8 point average and I would say Woryna could be as good. Don't know what Gavan is going on about with Klindt he was a great signing and injury free could also have achieved a 7. KK well fair point.
-
I hope Kyle has the same attitude. Because he would be the first brit on my list to ride for Poole.
-
I am hoping the other brit will be Newman.
-
Yes that is what I was getting at.
-
Yes it's a bit like calling Jack Holder and Brady Kurtz the new turbo twins a bit ott.
-
I think Kacper will prove to be a very good signing. Whilst it is always a bit of a gamble to sign riders without knowing next years rules, just signing one or two shouldn't be a issue and having a Kacper in the team has worked in the past and I certainly wouldn't object to their being two in next years team if Gomolski can be fitted in.

Kings Lynn Vs Wolves ( Double Header) 23.08,17
foreverblue replied to g13webb's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Never liked double meetings even when it is against two different teams, rarely good meetings especially the second one and your expected to pay 25 quid for the privilege. It is bad enough to have a double header at a weekend or on a bank holiday, to have when people need to get to work the next day is not good especially if you are a away fan. -
Hasn't it been said the ban doesn't start until the fine is paid. Don't really see what he thinks he will gain by going to appeal, sometimes if the authorities think the appeal is flippant they extend the ban.
