Poole Pirates Vs Belle Vue Aces 29/4/15
foreverblue replied to Shaleshifter's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Maybe the track isn't helping but he is not the same rider now, could be mechanical but in my view the problem is in his head. -

That sounds ok but who guests for Magic? -
Well it is mostly Garrity and he falls at every track which is why, although probably the best reserve in the EL, he is a bit of a liability at times.

I think there will be other changes if needed but Ward will be in the team by the beginning of july. -
Can't see the Bees winning this one with Greenwood at reserve.

If Holder continues in his current for he will be well below 7 points when the next averages come out and we will be able to get Darcy back. -
The Mighty Bees Vs Belle Vue 24/04/15
foreverblue replied to Game On's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Maybe unlikely but what if gifting belle vue a point cost coventry a play off spot? What if it cost another team a play off spot, you never know stranger things have happened -
Great result for wolves, PK is amazing and to come back from a poor season like he has shows his character. What has happened to Ellis though, rode for poole at kings lynn thought he looked good and has had some reasonable scores, bit of a mystery why its gone wrong.

Walk in the park for the bees this one, far better team than Belle Vue especially at reserve. -
Warsaw Gp Saturday 18th April
foreverblue replied to racers and royals's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Harris states the track was unraceable so was it worse than when he won the cardiff gp because the track that night looked far worse to me unless we have moved on and what used to be acceptable isnt anymore. -

I still have not seen anywhere that they are going to refund ticket money, all they are doing is trying to justify there procedures by telling us how few meetings have been cancelled, not admit their mistakes refund the paying public or give assurances that the public will get full refunds in the future, should this happen again. i went to the German gp the year before it was cancelled and it was a terrific weekend although the racing wasn't that good but when i heard the following year it had been cancelled due to rain in a covered stadium, i thought what incompetent fool decided it was a good idea to leave the roof open and now we get the scenario where even if the track is dry they can't prepare a track that is raceable when they have been preparing tracks in covered one off stadiums for such a long time. i just feel so sorry for those that attended and it seems once again that the fans are once again treated with contempt. -

Alot like me will have already booked hotels and bought tickets and the organisers will make sure nothing like this happens again. Cardiff is a very special event with the all the street stuff that happens, the whole event is excellent and in my opinion cannot be matched in speedway, so i don't think it will put many off from going to Cardiff but it may put some off travelling to other venues around the world. -
Belle Vue V Coventry Mon 20th April

Have to say Harris looks a much better rider this year and on current form you have the best team but when a number one has such a bad night like Hans did at Coventry against us then it makes it almost impossible -

Zagar must be embarrassed tonight, such a poor score from your number one. Coventry were always going to be a serious threat this year with the best reserves as a pair in the league. -

And the organisers and the riders don't care if the fans are short changed as long as they get paid for half a meeting, if they did they would return half their pay and the organisers would return the price of the tickets, this may be being done but i haven't read it is. One of the benefits of having a gp in a covered stadium is to give fans peace of mind that the meeting will not get cancelled or not run fully. -

The fans are the big losers here, some friends were considering going to this one and they are so glad they didn't, what a farce. The track looked raceable to me and Cardiff was like that in the early days, when Harris won Cardiff the track was worse than last nights in my opinion. What is it with riders these days, got to have perfect conditions or they want it called off.We had the german gp a few years ago called off for rain in a covered stadium and now they can't even prepare a track to last one meeting. -

Don't know why it wouldn't suit Poole, don't think any of our riders will worry about track conditions too much. -

Bjerre didn't ride well against poole at Kings Lynn either, one reasonable race in heat 13, he has always been a bit inconsistant but seems to be getting worse.
