  1. He wasn't allowed!! Isn't it up to Coventry who calls it off, what can sky do? threaten to not film them? If this was at Poole and Matt Ford wanted it called off what do you think would happen? Weak Coventry management.
  2. No with the current forecast no rain expected, we can win in any conditions.
  3. If we win this meeting do we go top on points difference?
  4. As i am one of the idiots who decided to go last night and regretted it, my view is that the meeting shouldn't have started and Coventry should have made a early decision to tell everyone including sky that the track was unfit with rain forecast all afternoon and evening, the fact that the real heavy rain didn't arrive until the meeting was well under way is in my view irrelevant and to charge 18 pounds when we all knew it would only last until heat 10 if it got that far is robbing the public which is part of the reason why very few bothered to turn up. The meeting itself was predictably very poor with only really a couple of actual races, everything that could go wrong for Coventry did, mostly due to Garrity who is a bit wild at times and the luckless Danny King. as someone who has always had the greatest respect for Havvy i must say i was disappointed with his actions which has showed him in a poor light. once the meeting got to heat 9 they were always going to run heat 10, if havvy thought he could change that scenario he must be mad. To make matters worse they don't serve food at the Roseycombe on a monday!!
  5. Its dry in the roseycombe bit gutted they dont do food on a monday!!
  6. i am finding it hard to believe this meeting is on and i am finding it hard to believe i am risking it to go to a meeting that is not around the corner and will probably get rained off !!
  7. Harris is terrific at Poole usually and Josh G is in good form so two good guests. To think Kings Lynn were moaning there wern't any decent guests available the other day!
  8. Harris loves bad conditions, the year he won British Gp the track was very bumpy and really attacked it where others were afraid of it.
  9. He hasn't so there is no dispute, he isn't even listed in the line up now.
  10. Can't see Hans or anyone else riding tomorrow, weather forecast is awful.
  11. I would say the racing at peterborough is generally better than kings lynn, the swc should be at peterborough in my opinion, great track, good facilities.
  12. I hope your next visit is as good, i expect going to the showground made up for it can't remember going to a bad meeting there, terrific racetrack.
  13. I think you should regret not going personally as it was a decent meeting with good racing in almost every heat, it was a bit annoying they had an interval but i think that was mainly for Rory's collection which i hope they got a substantial amount for him, we tend to forget sometimes what risks these guys take.
  14. I feel with back to form holder unless he cant get the coventry crash out of his head should be good for double figures, janowski is going well, not sure about gomolski but north should be good, just need watt to be dropped for shamek. If watt rides were toast.
  15. There wasn't much point in putting Newman in really was there, he had just been passed by Lambert in there previous meeting, it was a long shot he might do something, at least he tried. watt isn't trying to lower his average he is just crap now which is what i said before the season started.
  16. Season tickets at Poole have never been good value, never bought one myself.
  17. Yes i was very pleased to see Holder back on form, lovely bloke and i hope his gp form improves too. yes i enjoyed it, good presentation and sun delays not too bad really, we blew a good chance of a win. He should be there in no time!
  18. He already has a sub 7 average, he is just crap now if they wanted his average down they would have stuck with him in heat 13 so he would run another last.
  19. I am starting a Davey Watt must go campaign!! Matt Ford was there last night i should have had words because if we don't replace him now his average will be too low to get anyone decent.
  20. Despite the fact we lost when we probably should have won, it was one of the most enjoyable meetings i have been to at Kings Lynn for a long time and i believe Robert Lambert is the real deal.
  21. Yes that was a great move and although i didn't cheer last night i hope he rides like that on june 8th and i will be cheering.
  22. The sun issue i don't think is too much of a issue at Kings Lynn to me, the industrial units at the back of the stadium block some so it doesn't take that long for it to go down behind these units, it started a bit late and there was a delay but for me the main problem is they then had a interval which was not needed. At Leicester it is a much bigger problem as there is no industrial units to block some of the sun so you have to wait until the sun has gone down completely which on monday took over an hour!!
  23. Despite what some have said there was little wrong with this meeting that was avoidable except the interval which was short anyway. I thought the presentation was excellent with i believe it was darren fletcher who is always good. Some decent races with a fair bit of passing unfortunately mainly by the stars! Holder was superb definately back to form, Janowski too bar the last race . Dak North was good at the end and Gomolski tried hard and was on the pace generally which cant be said of Watt or Starke, as i said before the season started Watt is going downhill fast. I will never rubbish Sam Masters again he was excellent as was most of the stars. Never judge a Poole team in may, judge us in september.
