Spot on, I really can't see the "top rider" factor affecting SKY's decision. At the end of the day it all comes down to ££££ if they are not generating enogh advertising revenue to justify the outlay then clearly speedway will be dropped. That said we are seeing more and more "classic" and "gold" sport events on SKY, strange for the station that calls itself "the home of live sport"

The reason for this fixture being arranged is pretty obvious. Kent had a potentially blank lucrative Monday bang in the middle of the summer holidays which they decided to fill with an attractive meeting with Wimbledon and fairplay to them for that. I would guess The dons would have brought a few more fans than Coventry will so Kent must be gutted that Mondays meeting was called off. I wasn't able to make next Monday but I should be able to make the rearranged date, which is handy!

How on earth can you paint Lee as some sort of victim? Someone who has been raped is a victim, someone who has been mugged is a victim, someone who has had their house burgled is a victim. Someone who has chosen to take drugs is most certainly not a victim. So he split up with his bird, big deal it happens to loads of people every day.
