Belle Vue V Poole Elb 12/09/16 Sky Meeting
Buttons replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Not an easy job calling Speedway, but it's Pearsons shouting that gets me , and the incessant screaming, turned the sound right down last night -
Pity Tungate isn't in the mix being going well of late.
-
Former GP rider, is now going to be riding in the PL, you couldn't make it up

I see Holder putting himself out 8 +2, amazing he can get many more points in Poland , Anderson no better, hope they will be moved on next year. Very disappointing performance. Well done Swindon, wanted it more -
Somerset V Peterborough 5.8.16

Exactly my point, that's exactly what riders should be doing it's all part of their job to entertain, after all the kids wait to see their favourites and are disappointed when they don't bother. -

Very disappointed the majority of the riders decided to jump off the truck by the pit gate,( Wright didn't even go on the truck at all), so didn't come out to meet the fans maybe many of them had another meeting tomorrow or whatever, but in my opinion another five minutes minutes would have not been that much of a problem, riders need to interact with the fans. -
He has already had a Testimonial, but a farewell meeting would be great for a truly nice guy.

Farce............only in British Speedway

Did I read somewhere Eastbourne are getting a loan fee for Wilson Dean,? if so how can that be if NL teams are not allowed assets.
-
I think if it is a rearranged fixture, then yes, all three riders named as riding on the Rebels website.
-
Just shows ya, I notice no response to this thread from the Plymouth fans who posted on their Forum.
-
I always have a look around other clubs forum, but after attending the "Pairs" at Somerset which I thoroughly enjoyed by the way, I clicked on their thread re that meeting, and couldn't believe what some of them were posting, what a bunch of sore losers !, c**p track, boring meeting, just a couple of the remarks. I am a neutral and I have to say I thought the first couple of heats were not brilliant, but after that it just got better and better and certainly Somerset were the best team on the night, and the meeting was run very professionally, all in all a cracking meeting, ok their is probably some rivalry between these two clubs, but come on fairs fair and credit were it's due and all that.
-
Somerset won because they were the best team on the night, were you at the meeting?

The Somerset B team doing well -
Most EL teams have a fair few PL riders in them anyway so are they better riders and know how to commit when they are riding EL !!
-
Anybody read the Echo about the possible building in Poole which includes the Stadium car park, I have been going to Poole since the 1990.s and will be gutted if anything happens to my team.
-
Exeter seem to be at Somerset nearly every week now.

What's his average now?

Brady Kurtz At Plymouth
Buttons replied to Sherborne Green's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
And by what I have seen the Daughter does a great job, and the "rich Landowners" have a geniune love of our sport and support their riders., don't think there was any need for that comment. -

Agree Cliff, Somerset shouldn't have to lose out because the fixture was re arranged because of Plymouth threatening to shut up shop, nothing to do with Somerset, stupid rules. -
