Somerset Rebels V Peterbourgh Panthers 29/ 8/ 14

Many true fans no longer read or post on the BSF, because it has been ruined by people like you who post such drivel, it's down to fans if they want to start threads and not up to you to chastise them for not doing so, and there is certainly no lack of enthusiasum at Somerset from what I saw last week. -

Injuries are always a diifficult as it gets towards the business end of the season, with Brady Kurtz missing the Rebs are bound to find it tough, but what I like about this team they always put up a fight, so I expect to see no less tonight. -
Just can't understand why the Promoters can't see whats infront of their faces, fans will not spend their hard earned money to follow their team with half of them missing, and then they go on to complain their gates are down
-
I can see it now, Ward will get banned for 6 months from November after the seasons finished, and back in time for the start of the season, I do hope I'm wrong as he certainly needs punishing for what he has done. Time will tell

Cannot believe this guy he is such a talent, but how much more trouble is he going to get into, the others problems are well documented so I won't go into them again, but now he has failed an alcohol test. Whatever was he thinking, whatever bad news he has recieved there is no excuse whatsoever for drinking too much the night before your riding in a match or a GP, if the news was as bad as he says and he felt he needed a drink maybe he should have pulled out of the GP!! The authorities must not push this under the carpet, whatever pressure if any maybe put on them as no doubt Darcy is a crowd puller, our sport needs to have some credibility.

Bandits V Rebels Sat 16/8/14

I thought Somerset had a good chance to take all 4 points with Berwick having half their team missing -
This person is so much a wind up merchant, I just wish he stay on the Poole thread and leave Somersets alone, we don't want all that aggro they get and he/she along with another well known Poole fan just wind other fans up with their sarcastic comments You can't expect Starman to understand that !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Somerset should definately have the choice of 1st or 2nd leg in the P/O final if they get through, really can't see the why Edinburgh can't hold the meeting on their off race night Saturday, surely the idea is to get these matches done and dusted before the snow comes !!
-
Lets hope they do, Somerset would be silly to let them go
-
A great bit of sportsmanship by Kozza Smith last night who came out to the pit gate to shake hands with all the Rebels after their win, was good to see.
-
No I'm not, but I don't have to be related to him to agree about your inane drivel you spout on hear about Somerset, as I said before stay on the Poole thread.
-
Couldn't agree more, but we all know Starman don't we "brains & dangerous" spring to mind, same every season he thinks these riders are machines, they are not allowed an off night, just wish he would stay on the Poole thread and we wouldn't have to put up with his drivel.

Something I wondered how the riders and ref didn't get together and call the track unfit before it even started, but there you go. After watching last nights Elite meeting Birmingham v Poole on TV that track was causing all sorts of problems too, but as usual a few on here cannot wait to get in on the action and have a go although many of them were not even at the meeting !, when will people realise these things do happen even though they shouldn't, and although unfortunate and expensive for visiting supporters, in my humble opinion after the Ref had call it off and the trackman had done a little more work on the track it was raceable.
-
Because that is what usually happens, with the sun and the sea breeze the track dries out really quickly as as others have posted. Obviously it was disappointing for the away fans who had travelled a long distance to support their team, but lets hope you can move on an accept the managements apology. You couldn't make it up, is it any wonder many fans are losing interest in Speedway.
