The Swedes & Poles come over here, the Promoters pay for their flights etc (which is costly to clubs), and then they ride their meetings, get paid and go home and spend their money in their own countries, fair enough. The Australians/New Zealanders on the other hand come over and live here, ride their meetings and spend their money, and pay their taxes in the Uk, and then go home after the seasons finished, as without any Aussies riding Speedway especially PL we wouldn't have enough riders of the quality needed for this league, as unfortunately due to lack of investment to help British riders over the years we have not enough British riders to fill the teams.

The trouble is it's the secret society that is the BSPA, heaven forbid they would become transparent and let the supporters know whats going on Well it's listed now

So how come Somerset have totally ignored what two other Promoters have stated was said at the AGM, doesn't make good reading

When does this come into force, is it just for riders who don't have a PL average or is it all riders who can't double up

Sorry think that is too much pressure to put on young Brady's shoulders, you are putting two second strings up to heat leader status If you want to do that you need a consistent number one.

Many true fans no longer read or post on the BSF, because it has been ruined by people like you who post such drivel, it's down to fans if they want to start threads and not up to you to chastise them for not doing so, and there is certainly no lack of enthusiasum at Somerset from what I saw last week.

Injuries are always a diifficult as it gets towards the business end of the season, with Brady Kurtz missing the Rebs are bound to find it tough, but what I like about this team they always put up a fight, so I expect to see no less tonight.

Just can't understand why the Promoters can't see whats infront of their faces, fans will not spend their hard earned money to follow their team with half of them missing, and then they go on to complain their gates are down

I can see it now, Ward will get banned for 6 months from November after the seasons finished, and back in time for the start of the season, I do hope I'm wrong as he certainly needs punishing for what he has done. Time will tell

Cannot believe this guy he is such a talent, but how much more trouble is he going to get into, the others problems are well documented so I won't go into them again, but now he has failed an alcohol test. Whatever was he thinking, whatever bad news he has recieved there is no excuse whatsoever for drinking too much the night before your riding in a match or a GP, if the news was as bad as he says and he felt he needed a drink maybe he should have pulled out of the GP!! The authorities must not push this under the carpet, whatever pressure if any maybe put on them as no doubt Darcy is a crowd puller, our sport needs to have some credibility.

Somerset should definately have the choice of 1st or 2nd leg in the P/O final if they get through, really can't see the why Edinburgh can't hold the meeting on their off race night Saturday, surely the idea is to get these matches done and dusted before the snow comes !!
