  1. Peter Ljung says that he is sore but that nothing is broken. https://mobile.twitter.com/LjungPeter/status/597266832291135488
  2. Wasn't it Esbjerg who hosted a GP qualifications quarter or semi last year which rained off twice?
  3. Finally a good heat. Well done Linus and Grigorij.
  4. How come Rosco didn't know it then, if BSPA and One Sport and Tai knew? Why didn't he tell Rosco then? From what I can remember, more grass / grass slopes and less constructed stands.
  5. I agree but this is not surprising, Esbjerg have rarely produced any particular good speedway those times the past few years that I have seen meetings from it on Kanalsports broadcasts from Esbjerg, Personally I think Fjelested usually is quite good racing but the arena probably is of a bit lower standard..
  6. Sure I understand but this is special case though were almost all riders are occupied with riding for their teams in their home league. BTw how was Fricke not excluded for that?
  7. Swedish Eurosport said it could be a broken arm for Ljung but it is not confirmed.
  8. Well no stranger then Holta riding for Poland.
  9. No rain for the past 2 hours according to Nicki. https://twitter.com/NickiP_Racing/status/597047289190973441
  10. Perhaps but what can Wroclaw do? Leaving Tai out will only hurt themselves so I think it's about time the riders organized themselves and stood up against the Polish clubs.
  11. Lanbert and Schlein have been confirmed by Janek Konikiewicz . https://twitter.com/JKonikiewicz/status/596934232359972865
  12. Sweden are supposedly fielding 3. Tomas H. Jonasson 4. Peter Ljung 16. Linus Sundström
  13. Örnarna-Valsarna was abonded after 4 heats. The start was delayed by about 80 minutes and then after 4 heats they started to get problems with power outages. http://www.speedwaynyheter.se/2015/05/07/installt-pa-canvac-arena/
  14. Nice pass by Lahti on Bogdanovs. Alan it's cold and rainy here in Eskilstuna at the moment.
  15. There are some Masarna fans on location at the track. They have a nice little drive from Avesta to Malmö and back home. About 1300km which is about 800miles. What about SNP then, aren't they the yellows? heat 10 is frozen. 3p Antonio, 2p Max, 1p Lindgren.
  16. Fredrik Engman will not ride heat 3 and Ludvig Lindgren will take his place. Jablonski exluded. They just announced that it is uncertain if Engman can ride more tonight.
  17. Nasty crash in heat 3. Jablonski hit Engman's backwheel and was somersaulted onto the track but all riders are ok. There will be a short break since the airfence need to be repaired.

  20. Both. If you look at the temporary tracks. They all suffer from the same problem. They develop ruts and holes very quickly, sometimes already during practice. Then everyone can see that these ruts and holes also appears during the race. Add to that Philips comment that the same material is used for all tracks= same problem on all tracks that uses that material. Like Nicki P says "They have been laying these tracks for 15 years so they should know hot to do it". Nicki also says that when they drove a tractor on the track, the track's structure changed. Here it says that the track was too loose. Sure Rander often has "I know best attitude" especially when it comes to Swedish speedway and I often don't like/agree with what he writes but even a blind man (no offence to anyone) can see that there is something wrong being done with these temporary tracks. Morgan Andersson, team manager for the Swedish national team and also an expert for Cmore, says that the track was laid too late (although other sources have claimed the opposite) and that meant that it didn't have enough time to settle (or burn as we say in Swedish). http://www.svt.se/sport/jonsson-brot-warszawas-gp So If Ole isn't doing it wrong, why do "we" keep having problems with the temporary tracks (ruts, holes, track too loose and etc)? Because it isn't done right. Links originally posted in this post: http://www.speedway-forum.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=78246&page=54&do=findComment&comment=2601984 At least permanent tracks are done the same way: see these pics: http://www.svenskalag.se/galleries_show.asp?teamID=1227&TeamGalleryID=15119 http://www.svenskalag.se/galleries_show.asp?teamID=1227&TeamGalleryID=15608 That is what Morgan Andersson also says (see link above).
  21. So if you don't know anything about track building, how can you be so sure that Richard doesn't know anything about track building? So question still stands, why don't you ask him? Dunno but I wouldn't be too surprised if Richard knows more about track building then Ole Dole Olsen does. On the other hand, that is hardly a merit, is it?
