  1. I disagree, Not Emil's fault that Zagar decided that he wanted to be a kamikaze rider.
  2. I agree, Zagar moved out all the way across the track to try and block Emil but Emil had already moved up alongside Zagar but still decided to close the door on Emil. So why is it that your view is the only view that counts?
  3. @MP, I would assume that Joonas have Finnish parents, there are allot of people in this region of Sweden who are 1st or 2nd generation of Finnish immigrants, so its quite likely that he have a dual citizenship as well.
  4. Iris, regarding Kylmäkorpi and a "non Swedish rider" winning the title. Joonas is born in Stockholm and I think he has lived more or less all his life there. He is also a former Swedish U21 champion (1999) so I would say that he just as much Swedish as Finnish.
  5. see this thread: http://www.speedway-forum.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=71829
  6. Paul, honestly is there really a need for this size and colour for a regular link?
  7. Rospiggarna have signed Daniel Pytel and Robban Eriksson. There might also be a third signing. It is not yet decided which riders will have to leave Rospiggarna. http://norrteljetidning.se/sport/1.2123787-en-polack-och-en-veteran-sa-varvar-rospiggarna
  8. Last nights meeting was a very tough blow for Elit Vetlanda, not only did they loose the meeting but they also got THJ and injured. THJ broke a collarbone and also re-injured his cracked ribs. I also heard claims that Rickly Kling also got injured but I am not sure.
  9. As mentioned before this might be the last GP at Parken: http://ekstrabladet.dk/sport/anden_sport/motorsport/speedway/article2023219.ece Surely Ole cannot seriously mean that Vojens is one of the best tracks in the world? Maybe if you are a fan of ultra slick tracks but not otherwise.
  10. well MP, I don't agree regarding Nermark, the past couple of seasons he have been a fairly consistent top 20 scorer in Elitserien. In 2012 he was the third best Swede in Elitserien with an average of 1,719 , in 2011 he had 1,782 making him the second best after Jonsson and 13th best overall. I think Nermark's problem is that he, like THJ spending too much time injured.
  11. The latest news about Emil, Indianerna will not pay the remaing part of Emil's sign on bonus. Daniel Andersson says that Emil's manager became upset when Emil was not picked for last weeks meeting. Daniel also says that they will have a board meeting on Thursday to discuss the matter and that he most likely won't pick Emil to ride anymore this season. http://na.se/sporten...tjarnans-pengar Emil is a very skilful rider. just a shame tat he and particular his manager have to act like spoiled kids. I really hope he get his act together and apologize for his and his managers behaviour.
  12. You have good point there, but I think he will have a good chance this year, he usually rides pretty good at Vetlanda and Jonsson is not really in good form this year, Nermark is injured, Lindbäck is out of form and THJ is "always" (more or less) injured. PK is a dark horse and on a good day he can beat them all.
  13. Smedernas biggest problem is the poor starts in combination with a rubbish ultra slick track. Pk, Kenni and Wozniak did ok or more or less what you could ask of them but the rest of the riders well they should be ashamed really, Jonsson is fairly consistent around 8p but he was recruited to score at least 50% more point per meeting. Next week, its Piraterna vs. Dackarna, with Darcy back that should be a really interesting meeting. The week after that we'll make a visit to Norrköping and the meeting between Vargarna and Hammarby,
  14. Well thats that. 3p to Piraterna. Smederna are to slow from the tape.
  15. Alan you won't see many people standing. Most people are sitting.
  16. Another article about Emil: http://www.vt.se/sport/speedway/?articleid=6875839 Dalle says that it seems that there might not be any more Emil for Indianerna and that Emil ts a breach if of his contract to refuse to ride.
  17. I would say the team will be: Nicki Pedersen ,Niels Kr. Iversen, Michael Jepsen Jensen and?
  18. It is R/R but the thing is that R/R goes by floating average and Linus only have the 5th highest average which means that they only have three heats to use R/R for him. Only Rosén, Engman and Davidsson can be used. Possibly its allowed to use a reserve twice but I am far from certain about that.
  19. Yeah you're right, I forgot about Engman. We'll see then. I have had a look around and there is no info available yet. I think THJ will ride otherwise they wouldn't have put him at nr5.
  20. If he does not ride, they have to put in another Swedish rider. I don't think R/R would work since there are 4 riders with a higher average then Linus. Then one of his heats would be empty. I am not sure though. There also seems to be uncertain if Prz Pawlicki will ride.
  21. Perhaps but I think the reason to why CA is because both Greg Hancock and Billy Hamill lives there and I think I read somewhere that they would be involved in some way.
  22. Elitserien 2013, Round 8, Tuesday June 25th, 19.10 CEST. Last week's round meant that we've already completed half of the season. So now there is 1p extra at stake for the teams. Live scores at: http://www.svemo.se/speedway http://www.score24.c...tyles/sr_v5.css Live radio: http://sverigesradio...?programid=3756 Ikaros Smederna (39) - Piraterna (51) #tv meeting# race card for this meeting: http://www.mediafire...a-Piraterna.pdf Ikaros Smederna Andreas Jonsson Magnus Zetterström Peter Karlsson Krzysztof Buczkowski Kenni Larsen Szymon Wozniak Oliver Berntzon Piraterna Przemyslaw Pawlicki Linus Sundström R/R Greg Hancock Jonas Davidsson Chris Holder Anton Rosén Fredrik Engman Ikaros Smederna unfortunately have to manage without Grigorij Laguta who are occupied with a meeting in Vladivlostok. I think this means that it will be a bit too tough for Smederna as Laguta is the only who have been consistent 10p+ scorer (except for the first meeting). Zorro rode very well from reserve last week while the rest of the team (minus Laguta) did not reach their full capacity. So I predict that Piraterna will win with 6-8p. Vargarna (43) - Elit Vetlanda (47) Vargarna: Scott Nicholls Tomasz Gapinski Peter Kildemand Anders Mellgren Nicki Pedersen Kim Nilsson Pontus Aspgren Elit Vetlanda: Martin Vaculik David Ruud Jaroslaw Hampel Ricky Kling Thomas H Jonasson Jacob Thorssell Mikkel B Jensen Battle of then bottom, Vargarna is currently in last place with only one win, while Vetlanda is in 6th place with 2 wins and one draw. Vargarna needs to win if they want to stay in the play off race. Miedzinski is still out due to his concussion and uncontiousness a few weeks ago. Indianerna (37) - Västervik (53) Indianerna Rune Holta Joonas Kylmäkorpi Piotr Protasiewicz Antonio Lindbäck Niels Kristian Iversen Krzysztof Jablonski Mathias Thörnblom Västervik Daniel Nermark R/R Tomasz Jedrzejak Peter Ljung Hans Andersen Troy Batchelor Ludvig Lindgren Tobiasz Musielak For Indianerna Baslinski is out and Jablonski is in. Indianerna seem to have some sort of disagreement with Emil S, for the meeting two weeks ago, Emil requested to be excused so Dalle, team manager at Indianerna, brought in Rune Holta.Holta did pretty well so Dalle thought that Rune deserved to ride last week as well (which I agree with). Apparently Emil or perhaps Emils manager did ot approve of that so Emils manager have stopped Emil from riding for Indianerna. However Dalle have told Emil's manager that Emil's prescense if required on Tuesday so we'll see what happens. Me thinks that a rider regardless who he is should be able to accept that he sometimes won't be picked if his results while riding for the haven't been particular good. Secondly he needs to find himself a better manager. Dackarna (52) - Hammarby (38) Dackarna Patryk Dudek Darcy Ward Michael Jepsen Jensen Mikkel Michelsen Fredrik Lindgren Dennis Andersson Joel Larsson Hammarby Gregorz Walasek Robin Aspegren Leon Madsen Mikael Max Rafal Okoniewski Andrej Karpov Sebastian Aldén Darcy Ward is back in Dackarna after being out with an injury for a couple of weeks. Hammarby replaces Loktajev and Artem Laguta with Madsen and Okoniewski.
