Seems by the tone of your post like you have a problem with George/Steve Piper, check the post and you will see it was me and not him who posted the information once we had been given the go ahead! You could so easily of ruined the suprise for some of these riders who hadn't all been confirmed in writing, timing and tact go a long way Some of these kids may never get the chance to ride in this superb stadium again for one reason or another, I hope the British and Speedway public get behind each and every one of them on the day. Why did I post and not George, simple as I have taken over the PR side scouting around for sponsors etc to help a young ambitious kid make the grade in a tough sport. With all the irons in the fire steadily coming into place a very good set up will hopefully be at George and Steve's disposal for next season

U15 Challenge Weymouth vs Wolves
stressed replied to Wildcat Steve's topic in Youth Speedway and Development Leagues
Do you have to As I was in the refs box at that moment she (Margret Vardy, as if you really didn't know ) did not see Tim Webster fall let alone see his bike still on the track! I said to her there is a bike on the track arn't you going to stop the race? to which she replied "Where?" Now I'm not being funny but the refs do have a difficult job to do and I tend to get on well with all of them, they are human (apart from yesterdays experience ) and friendly chaps who like you and I enjoy their Speedway as well as some good hearted banter. Yesterday was the opposite, I received a phone call on route to the track to tell me who the referee was, I just laughed and said if we finish the whole programme tonight it will be a miracle, I was right. Anyway back to the incident with Tim Websters bike laying on the circuit, and Lewis Bridger decending down flat out! after looking all around the track for the fallen bike after being told and I even pointed to the bike the red lights finally came on with Lewis just yards from the fallen bike. Riders safety in mind? There was also another incident where she asked myself and the incident recorder what we thought happened and who was to blame! Seems like we will need to install a VCR for next season. Looks like I will be in the s**t for the above comments, but they are facts not fiction, I just hope that next season that the supporters don't have to endure the constant bell ringing for no reason from an over charged power freek. The other refs that have visited have been a joy to work with and have left the box all smiles rather than scurry away. -

Middlo Hang in there, times will get better over the next few years, super commitment from all the GB boys & yourself, you all did us proud. Watching the Sky coverage my packed house really felt for you all, but we realised we had seen some excellent racing, real racing including the best heat ever at Wimborne Road with Rempala & Havvy, if only every heat was like that crowds would flock back. Doing your best is all that can be asked of any speedway rider, that's what the guy's gave, thanks to each & every one of them & to you Middlo for pushing them to the limit. Don't let anyone knock you down there isn't a better manager around who could do any better than you at International level. Keep it it's yours for as long as you want it as far as we are concerned.
